Greetings all from the Geek Labs
Guests now will be able to meet their favorite Disney princesses in a central location, following the recent grand opening of the Princess Room in Mickey's Toontown Fair at the Magic Kingdom Park.
"Guest demand really showed a necessity for a princess-only backdrop for meet-and-greet opportunities," said Magic Kingdom Entertainment Team Leader Katrina Webster. "We feel that the Princess Room will meet that demand perfectly and provide Guests with a totally new experience."
Part of the Walt Disney World Entertainment princess strategy was to provide a themed story base to individually meet each of the princesses. A collaborative effort with Walt Disney Imagineering, the Magic Kingdom Production Team and local Entertainment leadership gained momentum when Magic Kingdom Greeter Ernie Shorb shared his ideas with senior leadership.
"So many Guests want to meet our princesses, and I felt that what we really needed was a place that would bring everyone together," Ernie said. "Seeing the end result of this project is truly gratifying, and shows that any Cast Member can become involved in the evolution of the show."
Aurora, Snow White and Cinderella currently are making appearances at the Princess Room. Other princesses will be available on a rotating basis.
