Disney princesses find new home at the Magic Kingdom Park

Is this really new? It seems to me that I remember, oh maybe about 6 or 7 years ago, that there was already a Princess room? I clearly remember when my 3 daughters were much younger that we had met Belle, Snow White, Minnie and I can't remember who else. It seems like sometime after that, it was discontinued. Well, anyway, glad they are bringing them back. My daughters are still young enough to be excited about this.

You do remember correctly, however, in the large picture, it was basically Cinderella with Suzy and Perla and if you were lucky, somebody else thrown into the mix. Now, from what it sounds like, it's strictly princesses and no mice involved...I'll miss the mice though!

I was in WDW over the weekend and needed a photo and autograph from Ariel, so I went to Toontown Fair. Ariel, Cinderella and Perla were in the center room at the Hall of Fame. I had never been in there before, so can't say if it had been redone or not, but each character was underneath a rather regal tent-like apparatus. It was quite lovely and, if this is how it's going to stay, I think it will make a lovely Princess Room.

When we were there in November, there were three lines in the meet and greet. One line was for Mickey, one for Minnie, then a third for Pooh, Cindi, and the mices....

I guess the new thing is the overhead appartus then? Is the backdrop still trees and such?

No, the backdrop is gone, there is just the "tents" (I don't think my description is doing it justice, it's really quite lovely). It looks like the building fronts in Fantasyland.

I was there in the Toontown Hall of Fame, a couple of weeks ago...to see Tigger.. :animwink:

And in the Princess room was Cinderella, Ariel, and Perla..I believe. But this should be interesting to see new Princesses in the room. I'll check it out..
