And how exactly is it helping the Disney parks, which is what we are talking about, right?Actually, had you read my follow up post, you would note that some of it is already 'here'.

I didn't make that earlier post, but it seemed that he was comparing two investments choices, which is certainly on point to the topic of this thread. And how exactly is it helping the Disney parks, which is what we are talking about, right?
I don't know what "mediums" are at all, but I know about "media."He was responding to this statement:
"Would Disney rather lease Potter to their theme parks and pay JK royalties, or buy Star Wars outright and create new content across all mediums at their disposal."
Certainly, you don't believe that the only 'mediums at Disney's disposal' are theme park attractions, or do you?
That's why I went into the pool.
I mean, I get that some people can only shoot in RAW at f/22 on a tripod. I get that's all they are capable of. I get that all they can do is post-production and have no photography skills to speak of. I get that.
Just don't expect me to like the pedantic detritus they put out.
I was clearly referring to a presence in theme parks. Frankly, the most insulting way you can bring SW into the parks is to have Vader breakdance......more.@Tony Perkis can correct me if I am wrong, but it seems he was asking about themed entertainment. If so, it is then you who changed the criteria to force your answer to work.
Breakdancing Vader... Hip Hop Palpatine... Luke does the Macarena... Chewy twerks... Now that is a show TDO would green light in a hyperspace heartbeat...I was clearly referring to a presence in theme parks. goodie for you. Apparently, Tony and that other guy don't.I don't know what "mediums" are at all, but I know about "media."
I eat success for breakfast with skim milk.goodie for you. Apparently, Tony and that other guy don't.
Oh gosh, I want to print and frame this.
All I know is that I will forever associate the phrase 'pedantic palaver' with Oswald the lucky Rabbit.
I've seen one, also. At DLP.
Ask yourself a simple question:
Is WDW the best it's ever been?
Your answer to this question determines whether you are a "WDW is" or a "WDW was" person.
All the discussion about Universal is just a sideshow to The Main Event.
This is, after all, a WDW fansite.
Your unique take on the situation has been said several times in this very thread. What no one is saying here is that disney doesn't need Harry potter at all. Wdw alone had nearly 19mil visit the one park alone. And the rest were all top 5 in attendance. Universal with potter went up 40 percent and the combined total was 15 mil. (8 mil at ioa). Take 40 percent away and universal was a ghost town compaired to disney, and they didn't have to add one attraction. They consistently avg 17mil, without spending a dime at times. So say what you want disney will always be a better draw, and Harry potter will fade fast.

We're actually expecting AA's?
At this point, since it seems at least the Soarin' 2.0 will be in 3-D (I am sure Cameron insists on this, given his obsession), I'm fully expecting "blank" looking things with projections on them.
After what they did to the dwarves, I have no doubt that those pesky actual real animatronics are going to become a thing of the past.
64? I tough he said 8 when the usual are just 2 or 4?Thats what Cameron said. We are going to get AAs with 64 axles of motion, something about being the most advanced AAs in the world. But who knows.
DISCO NAVI TIME!!!64 axis? That should work right for about 6.5 days. At WDW, 62 will break with only the 3rd metacarpal and groin actuators still operational.
not everyone have those monster thousand dollar cameras or the super expensive lenses
* sobs at his poor Nikon D5100 and 3 basic lenses*
if Potter was the biggest "mistake" in 20 years, what happened 20 years ago that was an even bigger mistake? Lion King?
How do you call them anyway? are they specific? you have to order them, they run in intervals?Eh...Basically they already are...
Mears runs shuttles from Disney resorts to Universal.
didnt it cost dirt cheap to make?what do you mean
planes made 90 million last time
Its all about composition and light. Gear has nothing to do with it.
As a friend/mentor says, start photographing adjectives instead of nouns.
didnt it cost dirt cheap to make?
plus merchandise sales?
Unfortunately, I'm still figuring out the "verbs"
