To me this whole, i'm upset because i won't get a plastic straw anymore seems childish.

Maybe we should all go back to using sippy cups

Straws are bad for your health. They promote gas and bloating by sucking in more air into the digestive system. Straws increase the likelihood of cavities by sending concentrated sugar liquids to small areas of teeth. The chemicals that make straws can leach into hot beverages causing cancer. Straws promote pucker lines in the face. Drinking alcohol through a straw leads to faster intoxication.

The straws they have are awful. I can't get them out of the paper wrapper. I'll break like five trying to open one for my Diet Coke. Take that, sea creatures!

When I went to Walmart to get stuff for my dorm I got dozens of plastic bags so now I don't have to buy trash bags. This is called recycling and California hates this.
