News Disney Park Pass System announced for Walt Disney World theme park reservations

The problem is that the annual pass reservations would get plugged up in those cases by people who weren't sure if they were going or not, since there would be no other days they needed reservations allotted. I think reservations are kind of an All or nothing scenario with annual pass ticket types.

true - if they don't have a set number to use and don't want to tie up theirs for the "special" days a lot would book one, filling up the AP allotment early on ... could do something where if they don't show up they get a penalty or something but still

So an annual pass holder can make a reservation for any virtual queue as long as they have a park reservation for that day, or do the park and ride have to coincide?

What people forget about AP holders, especially Floridians: while park passes may take up a significant portion of your budget, it’s none of ours per trip. We either get that expense out of the way up front, or have small monthly payments. So when we visit, our entire budget goes to lodging, dining, and other entertainment. Instead of spending on park passes, we can and do buy better hotels & dinners, tours, nighttime events, etc.

What they also forget is businesses know the importance of creating habits, and they know the average person advances their station in life as they age. So while some parents of toddlers in their 20’s might be more likely to bring PB&J, they are establishing a vacation pattern that will pay off more over time. In their 30’s, after some special occasions at nicer restaurants, they may prioritize fine dining and be able to afford it, and even more so in their 40’s and so on. Plus they have gotten their kids on the path for when they grow up.

Coming to WDW with PB&J now may lead to V&A down the road if Disney is doing their job right.

If it is a "good to go day" they can make one for any VQ at any park

If it is a day they need a reservation then the reservation has to match the park with th VQ they try for

For 7am

For the 1pm they have to have scanned into the park with the ride

Next will be and if it’s the 3rd week of the month and if it’s cloudy that day, open up Genie and enter the Contra tab and then do up up down down left right left right B A Select Start then spin around 5 times, click your heels together once, and eat a Mickey waffle for breakfast then we might let you in

It's like a secret society, if you know the code they let you in. Masters at manufacturing scarcity and providing solutions (for a small fee)

I was going to say the same thing.. Holy heck this is not confusing at all... If there is blue paint on the freeway in a state with the letter L then you can skip to the front of the security line to go through the stroller line but only if you have on a orange jacket and are willing to take your left shoe off and hold it out like an umbrella.. but that is once you have said the alphabet three times backwards while eating a grilled cheese sandwich and watching a parade of elephants crushing popcorn with their trunks... and that is is just the first week of the month that starts with the letter J. You should be good to go though...

So approaching its 2 year anniversary and having the best ride capacity and reliability in its section, GotG is still going to be a virtual queue? Way to continue the aggressive money grab there Disney. There is zero reasons to have the VQ continue on this attraction.
