News Disney Park Pass System announced for Walt Disney World theme park reservations

It's a simple question, really. Has Disney actually published a time when the system goes online?

Or is it all rumor, based off of some rando on Twitter?
Well look at it this way. Her tweets have already proved correct on several matters recently.

But if you don’t believe her, I guess you could start at midnight and keep refreshing every 5/10/15 minutes (or seconds if you prefer) until 7am.

Park reservations can only be done on the website.

That’s a confusing twist. I need a diagram of what I’m supposed to do when on what device, please. Lol.

But seriously really? The WDW universe absolutely revolves around the app and they aren’t going to use it for this?? I guess they are assuming you’re locked into these choices and won’t need the ability to modify them on the fly on site.

I’m guessing they have been under a development time crunch. It is far easier to do this in a website than in iOS and Android apps.

Do you have a source for that?
I just want to point out that I was just answering your question with good intentions. Based on this response and your other responses, it would be best if you just call Disney yourself and confirm it since you seem very skeptical of several people's answering the same time. Why even ask if you are not going to believe us anyways? What a waste of time. I definitely don't have time to do the legwork for you and frankly, I don't want to.

For those still asking about time for booking on Monday, a member of the Disney Moms Panel just confirmed online for 7am EST.

Regarding online vs app, we spoke with an Annual Pass customer service rep just a few minutes ago: You will need to get your Park Pass online, but it 'should' link to the app - however, right now you will not be able to make adjustments to Park reservations on the app.

Also from that rep, you will only be able to make 14 days of park reservations MAX, even if your resort stay is longer. We have a combination of three DVC stays coming up July 12 that total 16 days. The rep was pretty confident that we would only be able to get park reservations for 14 of those days. Since we have an Annual Pass, once we use some of those days, we should be able to book more if we want/need to (and they are available).

😂😂😂😂

I mean they‘re right about the time. But please don’t confuse them with being “official”. None of their answers are vetted, and I have seen some total clangers on there, even totally opposite answers on the same question.

As for the 14 days. You could only book 14 days of FPs at the 60 day mark but you could add the 15th day at 59 days and so on. Again they may be right, they may not.

Because the Disney backend is a reliable, robust, and fully capable of supporting any type of load thrown at it...

I think most people are being 'screwed' by Disney. I am DVC, AP and Florida resident. I just called to ask about next summer since you can reserve parks up to the end of September 2021. I can book the resort on 28th BUT my annual pass expires January 2nd so to get timely park reservations I must have a valid ticket. This means I cannot renew unless I wait until January but must buy a voucher when I book the resort to be able to get park reservations. Since this time of year is very popular and we are restricted by school I will have to buy the new pass before my old one expires. After months to think about all this you would have thought Disney would have come up with a better plan or at least a plan that better serves the public. I feel sorry for the CMs who have to answer calls as they have obviously just been given some information and not other information.
As for your situation I hope you can get tickets pretty soon or you will not be able to get a park reservation. No one knows when tickets will be on sale - you certainly cannot even buy an AP, even though it was in your cart, on the web site - just tried. Again the disorganization is amazing. Have you tried to call DVC about tickets? Might be your only hope.
We have called DVC several times and no help. The DVC CM’s are in the same boat as regular CM. No power to help other than a shoulder to cry on. What I don’t understand is that AP’s have higher priority than Club 33 and DVC owners. As one that has paid over $100,000 for my ownership and dues you would think we would at least have priority over the general public (and AP’s imo) but nope. We are out in the cold with no way to obtain tickets other to wait until they open up to all. Having an existing Disney reservation doesn’t even help and as to move the reservation out to 2021, that is not an option for DVC members since 2021 reservations require a vacation package which DVC members don’t need or get since the room is part of DVC. Clearly they have not thought this through. Is their any black market rising up for park tickets on the dark web? 😀

They told me that you can book a room only, I'm DVC, when I asked about my AP. Seems you do not need a package for 2021.

As a DVC member with a hotel reservation (7/21 - 7/30) but no tickets or annual pass yet, I SURE hope you are right. Everything I read and every cast member I have talked too does not indicate that 😢. From what I read and heard 2020 guest without tickets (including DVC members) are totally screwed until “later this summer” whenever that is.
We are in exactly the same situation - right down to the dates. My wife just got off the phone with DVC and was basically told the same thing. I know they're in a tough spot, but come on Disney. Telling some of you're best customers "too bad" isn't exactly the best idea you've ever had.:mad::mad:

I will book my resort on 28th for 2021 and then get a voucher for a new AP since mine won't expire until January. At least I will get the current price rather than a higher price when the go up as usual in the New Year. This was from both a DVC CM and an AP cast member.

I’m so sorry you paid $100K for anything at Disney.

Aren't third party sites (e.g. Undercover Tourist) still selling tickets? Can't you just buy tickets from there and link to your account? Then you can reserve a date.

No they are not. The only thing you can legit buy right now is an AP.

Can you only make 14 days total, or 14 days per vacation? We’ve got 12 nights in December plus some in February. Do I pick and choose my favorite 14 days?
