With limited attraction availability, limited crowds, and no park hopping... I can see AK completely empty after noon or so.

Just like the early days, it will only have a half-day worth of experiences. With no hopping and no ‘second time slot’ for arrivals, once the rope drop crowds are done the park is going to have more cast in it then guests. It doesn’t make a lot of sense to me that they wouldn’t find a way to make that afternoon capacity available. Am I missing something?

Epcot and Studios could both have variations on that problem too... local AP holders won’t show up at rope drop to Epcot, but will breeze in for evening food and wine, leaving a empty morning. Without shows, studios suffers from half-day issues as well.

It will be interesting to see what ‘adjustments’ happen to the system within the first few weeks. I doubt what we’re all being sold right now is the way it’s actually going to work for very long.
AK won’t be open late enough for the night show or tree light up. Outside of Lion King and Nemo shows and maybe the boneyard play area what’s for sure going to be closed at AK? They should be able to do the bug movie in the tree since it’s one way in, one way out and has a large queue and with social distancing implemented (every other row, leave seats between groups, spaces in queue area). Good to go: both pandora rides, safari, river rapids, Everest, dinosaur, 2 carnival rides in Dino land. I’m not sure on the 2 animal trails. They both are already one way so in theory could have the 6 foot physical distancing markers setup in the various viewing areas where people tend to stop. Stagger entrance if it gets crowded. Conservation station could be closed or might be open, either way doesn‘t move the needle.

I actually think AK could be the most close to complete park in these times. Even if the trails are closed there’s still 9 or 10 attractions which if they average a 20 minute wait and 10 minute walk between them plus ride time you have already easily filled 6 hours. Throw in a meal and some time to “stop and smell the roses“ and you will be hard pressed to fit it all in during the 10 hours the park is open. I agree if you show up ride FoP, Safari, EE, Rapids and dinosaur then leave you could be in by 8 and out by noon. But that’s no different than “normal times”.

Epcot is not going to open until 11am so I agree. No shows, wonder if any of the films will be available. I wonder just what capability will be. For HS just about everyone will be at RofR or SR. Can't imagine the chaos if they have virtual queues for everything. Universal Studios seem to be more guest-centric than Disney and will take a lot of their guests. Imagine going to YC/BC and not being able to use Stormalong Bay - that's what people pay for - not to use the ordinary 'quiet pool'.

Have we even seen a comprehensive list of what’s going to be open? With no shows, limited animal exhibits, and no need to wait 2 hours for FoP, I have a hard time seeing a full day.
That's a good point. If a lot of the attractions are going to be closed why would you waste a park reservation on a park with very limited opening.

Coincidentally, they've just released news on some main attractions that will be open:

Never mind, even more than I thought is open, might need 2 days :):

You mean one that would have benefited you better. Numbers were the driving force behind these decisions. X% of capacity per park, Y number of Cast members, Z number of pre-sold hotel rooms and tickets.
Ummm. Not looking for a benefit other than I have paid for three races for three people and have a hotel reserved. Was waiting to see if we were going to do more trips and therefore get AP so no park tickets. And so I’m left out of this!!! Not looking for a benefit looking for what I should be able to do. Finish the purchase and reserve park passes.

It sucks for people in your position.

I really hope on the 24th they will help you. Can’t hurt to try.
