Disney Park execs at WDW this week

The upper echelons of Disney Parks execs have been at WDW this week. Meg Crofton, Tom Staggs, George K, Jim MacPhee and others have been out and about.

Yep they pretty much do. The park VPs certainly do, as does Tom Staggs.

Nice to see them out and about. You cant run a park from inside an office. I was pretty impressed a number of years ago when I stopped in to get some show times at the Studios and a gentleman came over to assist. He pulled a typed listing (Not printed so it wasn't a times guide of any sort)and read me off the information I was looking for. I looked at his name tag which said "Dan" and I realized why he looked familiar, it was Dan Cockrell! It was pretty cool!! Marie

I know people have said this is the time of year when projects are submitted and budgets are approved. Has that already passed or is it still in the thick of it?

Obviously, I'm wondering if their time in the parks is related to possibly greenlighting future projects.

Me too. I hope they're pondering a Frozen attraction. Although, if they spend a lot of time standing in front of Maelstrom and rubbing their hands and chuckling Bwahahahaha, then I'll be a tad worried...

That's the question. Hopefully, they are spending a lot of time walking around DHS as well as checking out "exciting" pavilions in Epcot like Imagination and the former WoL.

I think I saw someone say on another thread that some of the execs were seen at HS. I think @Jakester said that? If not, I'm sure he'll correct me.

I think I saw a photo of George K in Frozen Funland.

When I was at MK in January one of the execs "cant remember his name" was at the FP+ kiosks interviewing people about their experiences with MM+. He was quite rude tough about people giving their negative critiques.

I didn't know who he was. I googled, it's cool he has trading pins too in his photos lol

I had seen a picture of him in an interview not so long before I saw him in the parks so it was still fresh in my memory. Marie
