Disney on Top

I'm with you on Brave, I thought I was the only one around here that liked that movie! On the other side of the coin I have to disagree about Toy Story I thought the sequels were just as good if not better then the first, especially the second one which is my favorite.

The sequels fro TS were without a doubt better than the sequels for Cars or Monsters IMO. You know what Disney movie deserves more love, Emperors New Grove, that was a great movie :)

Congrats on the creepiest gif EVAH. And just in time for Easter. LOL!
I know, but the more you see it.. the more hilarious it is.

But Emperors New Grove had their own TV series.

Regardless of the negativity from some on here :p this story is a huge win for Disney. Brand recognition is important but brand trust and even brand love is even more so. When I was at work today (I work for a "brand" name) I was thinking of all we do to try and strengthen that brand in our customer's mind. It's a a lot that we do, a lot. And Disney just took top place, not a bad day at the office for those boys and girls. :)

I think you link Disney's "brand" awareness a little too closely with your own happiness...

This "study," from a cursory glance, seems laughably... odd. Yahoo? No Apple? Come on now. Disney at #1 I get (and as others have pointed out, we shouldn't be cheering), but doesn't this (if anything) only support the notion that Disney is riding off its previous "brand" successes rather than creating new content? (Frozen being the exception.)

Apple is on there, it's #9. The scoring ranges from 0 to 100 and the top 100 brands are only separated by 4.6 so it probably splitting hairs when they say one of these it better then the other.

God bless the "Ignore" button.
I think a lot of folks here are mistaking the "Disney" in the article with "Disney Parks and Resorts" or even just "Walt Disney World" OR EVEN "current Disney World management".
I'll doom and gloom along with the best of 'em, but the company referenced in this article goes WELL beyond our localized obsession.
