Disney- MGM studios VS Universal Studios Florida

I know this is a Disney site but I would like to know your feelings to this topic and the history that these park share. What park do you think got the whole studio Theme Park theme worked better for. Also what park do you think is ageing better. Please post!

Never been to Universal Studio's but I love the way Disney has themed MGM...I always feel like I'm in the real Hollywood when I'm going down the streets. I guess though Universal is better because its actually a working set and movies are shot there.

Well I think Universal makes more rides then MGM does. When I go to Universal I feel like there is more to do. MGM feels more like a half day park. Its hard to say which one is better. I can say one thing, Universal does much more to make you feel like your in the movies then disney.

I found something horrifying when I went into Twister a few days ago. When you enter the second room, there is a car sticking though the roof. One of the wheels spins on the the car as if it had just crashed. Well while it was going around I saw something flying around on it. When the wheel stopped spinning, it clearly turned out to be a Mickey Mouse ear hat. I kind of found it humorous in a way as well. O well.

Now guys you underestimate the people here at the boards. We are all mature adults here and would never start a fight over which theme park is better. I mean MGM at Disney is better and everybody is entitled to their own opinion...but if anybody says Universal Studios is better I'll box ya right in the nose!!!:hammer:

I love both parks, MGM is my favorite Disney park, and USF is my favorite park of all time. The one thing that MGM beats Universal is Thrills, but Universal in my opinion has more Movie Magic.

5. Overal look/ Feel of the Park

6. Time you can spend in the park

7. Park that done the most for its Park to grow.

If you can't tell I'm more of a Universal guy, I've been to the Universal parks way more times than Disney ones, but when I go to any park, I don't sit there and think about things like "how many times they ripped off" each other.
