Hearing more and more companies ( some big names) requiring this.
I totally get the science has changed, just prove it. Release the data. I want to see for my own personal safety. I am fully vaxxed and according to the new data/science I could spread it. How "rare" is rare? 1 in 100, 1 in 1000, 1M etc? I want to know.
Unfortunately, above poster is right. A new Florida law says it's perfectly legal to require employees to get the vaccine, but no business, school, or employer may be permitted to require proof of vaccination. Because "individual choice," right?
The unvaccinated are the ones raising the most noise about vaccine passports. I, for one, love the idea, because it means I and the rest of the vaccinated can get back to normal life. I had to present my vaccination records to attend school (childhood vaccinations are mandatory in Mississippi) and an updated record to attend college; this really isn't that much different on a conceptual level.
Against the law in Florida for their locations there, that will be interesting to see how it plays out.
Do you mind putting on a mask while standing in the blazing heat for outdoor attractions? Because you’ll have to do that again. Indoors at Disney is not indoors by common sense definitions.
It continues to be litigated, it will go to Supreme Court most likely, Supreme Court has already decided mandates can be set at state/local level. Going to be a lot of legals cases real soon
I'm thinking rope drops will be changed too as well, as in removed. Doesn't matter too much if you're outside if you are right next to many people for an extended period of time.

Guests need to pack some patience masking up if there is a power outage at WDW and the AC quits working.Blazing heat? It's Florida, deal with it. We've worn masks outside and inside our last three trips (September, December, and April) and it wasn't bad. Of course, we'd prefer not to wear them but it's the conduct that was required to be on the Disney Property. We're fully vaccinated with one of the mRNA vaccines (Moderna) since last March. We've both had Covid and don't want a second infection.
Personal convenience is just an excuse for in-duh-viduality.
Don’t worry. You can’t catch covid outdoors..or at least while crammed together during rope drop and fireworksGuests need to need to pack some patience masking up if there is a power outage at WDW and the AC quits working.

Leading the pack, Shake shack announcing vaccines required for employees and customers
Shake Shack did not announce this. Union Square Hospitality Group, the Founder and CEO of which founded Shake Shack made this announcement for their restaurants.Hearing more and more companies ( some big names) requiring this.
Yeah. They weren’t excited to do that but the kids, as we keep seeing, rolled with it. They have been hearing about Covid for 18 months and I think they know it’s serious. They are excited to go in January and hopefully much calmerI would hate to have to explain that to their poor kids this morning
yes more typical grandstanding that Danny Meyers does, I am sure all NY locations will be that way.Yeah they said certain locations
Excuse me. My mistakeShake Shack did not announce this. Union Square Hospitality Group, the Founder and CEO of which founded Shake Shack made this announcement for their restaurants.
Danny Meyer is Chairman of the Board of Shake Shack and specifically said that Shake Shack will make its own decision about this.
No offense, but some of us live here and go at least once a week. And August is much more brutal temperature and humidity wise than September, December and April combined. My choice will be going forward, not to go at all until they drop the mask requirement again. And yes, I understand that it’s only an indoor requirement. But when it’s literally 78 degrees at 5AM (which is when I run), the last thing you want to do is put on a mask regardless of whether it’s indoors or outdoors.Blazing heat?
