Starting to hear rumblings in the grapevine that Universal will be reinstating masks indoors on Saturday.
If only it were that easy.Should probably get more adults vaccinated if those are your two concerns.
Problem is a lot of these vaccinated folks are still catching the virus and spreading it around. Hence, the reason why this new "variant" is said to target the younger-unvaxxed crowd. Haven't really heard of any cases regarding young children catching this thing. If that's what is being said, I sense that this is a plot to scare people into getting their vaccines. The folks "WHO COULD DIE" have had months to get vaccinated.
Once again, UNVACCINATED children under 12 are at lower risk of serious illness or death than fully vaccinated adults. This has always been true and continues to be true with Delta. If you refuse to believe that, then we're not just disagreeing. You're plain wrong on the facts.Like cancer patients who can not get the vaccine? Like children under 12? Those folks?
And Dr. Jim Versalovic, the pathologist-in-chief at Texas Children's Hospital, said that "We have no firm evidence that the disease severity in children and adolescents is any different with the delta variant."“Pavia said he’s seen a marked increase in hospitalized children.”
It's not targeting any crowd, anyone can get it, regardless of vaccinated or not. The problem is those who are vaccinated are safe from severe illness or death, but they can pass it to those who aren't, like their young kids who can get really sick or not, or continue passing it hence keeping this bloody pandemic going.Problem is a lot of these vaccinated folks are still catching the virus and spreading it around. Considering that 90% of seniors have been vaccinated. I'd say that yes, it's going after younger individuals who have yet to be vaccinated. It's not targeting any crowd, anyone can get it, regardless of vaccinated or not. Dude, first of all, why are you limiting this conversation to just Disney? Last I heard, mask mandates were coming back outside the park doors as well..Once again, UNVACCINATED children under 12 are at lower risk of serious illness or death than fully vaccinated adults. Regarding cancer patients who are so severely ill that they can't take the vaccine, I don't expect that you run into many of them in line at Space Mountain. You're talking about bedridden folks on death's doorstep. They're not "out and about."
The vast, vast, vast majority of immunocompromised individuals, including cancer patients, have been eligible to take the vaccine since the beginning. Many of them were given first priority from their states.
You're wrong. Delta is more contagious. Anyone at any age can get it. If you don't believe that, than you're misinformed, uninformed or ignorant.STOP lying to these people! Those kids are LESS LIKELY to get sick than their vaccinated parents.
The problem is that there is no way to distinguish between the vaccinated and unvaccinated because businesses are not being allowed to make that distinction. Everyone has to be treated equally. So they’re either treated as all vaccinated or all unvaccinated. The latter is what is safer for society at the moment. People are willing to take a fraction of a fraction of a percent of risk if they know they’re around others who only pose that fraction of a fraction of a risk. But right now, no one knows that because they’re not allowed to know that.
Netflix:Why should I support a company that is not moving us towards the end goal of getting everyone vaccinated.
They can do this is multiple ways but so far have chosen none.
If other major companies like Google and Netflix can require vaccination for their employees, Disney can also.
"Crystallize your lungs"!?
Is there no threshold for misinformation that will get you suspended on here?
Several posters asked Universal about it on its official Facebook page for Passholders. Obviously things could change at any time, but so far Universal has simply (and somewhat coyly) responded with a link to its "current guidelines" -- which are exactly the same as its former guidelines enacted 5/29 -- which specify that vaccinated guests do not need to mask up. https://www.universalorlando.com/web/en/us/plan-your-visit/safety-faqsInteresting that we have yet to hear about Sea World or Universal... especially Universal. They've always been pushing to remove restrictions as fast as possible, so it's interesting to see what happens when others are pulling back.
If that's true they should probably change their verbiage a little bit since it states that it follows CDC guidelines which it no longer does lol.Sever posters asked Universal about it on its official Facebook page for Passholders. Just curious how you feel about those who are around cancer patients who cannot vaccinate and still refuse to do so themselves thereby putting the cancer patient at risk. Not Disney. No judgment, just curious as it pertains to family.Once again, UNVACCINATED children under 12 are at lower risk of serious illness or death than fully vaccinated adults. That's extraordinarily selfish and misinformed. Absolutely every adult who can get the vaccine should.Just curious how you feel about those who are around cancer patients who cannot vaccinate and still refuse to do so themselves thereby putting the cancer patient at risk. The high risk for severe infection people you pass it to without realizing you already have it."More contagious" does not mean "higher risk." Who cares if you GET COVID if COVID doesn't make you sick?
It’s not the COVID that will do those people in.Just curious how you feel about those who are around cancer patients who cannot vaccinate and still refuse to do so themselves thereby putting the cancer patient at risk. Not Disney. No judgment, just curious as it pertains to family.
