Yeah we noticed that, too. The biggest disappointment was that DL's Dole Whips are dairy free (read: no taste) :hurl:

Ummm, actually... ALL "Dole Whips" are pretty much dairy free. The mix has sodium caseinate (a milk derivative) in it, but other than that, no milk is added in the actual process of reconstituting the powder. All you need is hot water and a soft serve machine. No extra milk.

The dole whip you ordered at DL tasted funny because the tap water in Cali. (I would assume) has a slightly different taste than that in Florida. (Well, let's face... nothing compares to the tap water in Florida... ehhck.)
