If not there I reckon somewhere to the west of MK with direct park access near BTM / Cars.I expect the next tower to be built right behind the Beach Club DVC buildings.

It might well be visible from Epcot, and ruin sight lines.A tower there would significantly intrude on EPCOT.
The Swan and Dolphin already do, of course, but they're further away and really only an issue when looking at the World Showcase from the former Future World. A tower there would probably be in view from inside the France, UK, and Canada pavilions at the very least.
There's also not much room to add parking there.
Doesn't mean Disney wouldn't do it, but it would definitely cause problems at EPCOT.
I think there’s many reasons why this parcel isn’t really suitable.A tower there would significantly intrude on EPCOT.

But how does it cause problems at Epcot?
Sight lines aren’t even the biggest issue with that site.If it can make Disney money they could care lee about sight lines
Swolphin and Riviera already doYour first sentence is describing the problem.
The World Showcase would be kind of broken if there's a DVC tower looming overhead, similar to if they built a tower right next to Harambe, Pandora, or really almost anywhere at Animal Kingdom.
Swolphin and Riviera already do
I know I've spied it from the monorail on the inner loop, and I imagine you can perhaps see it way in the distance from some elevated areas on the western side of the park, but seeing a few mansard roofs in the distance is infinitely less disruptive than even S&D since there are plenty of other internationally themed structures ringing much of the park.I also don't remember seeing the Riviera at all last time I was at EPCOT -- I imagine it's visible from some places, but again, nowhere near the same thing.
The original WDW has its hotels right across from the park too. WDW in orlando is actually the deviation from the norm for parks as far as hotel location goes.I am waiting for TDO to take a hint from the DLP and Tokyo and build a hotel right across the entrance to one of the parks...
Seems every 2 years they build a DVC high rise so where do you think the next one will go when Lakeshore lodge is finished in 2027.
I meant like Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disney Seas, Fantasy Springs....where the Hotel is actually spanning the entrance to the park...Which could work for DHS or even EPCOT if it was designed properly...
This is what I mean to each their own. On 20,000 Leagues, the loading and unloading was not efficient and incredibly time consuming. The actual ride was just plain cheesy --IN My Opinion. We all have our favorites, I also miss the Time Travelor--but I have always been a Robin Williams fan.Mr Toad was always very cute and a lot of fun... Way cuter and more fun than the Winnie The Pooh ride that replaced it. 20,000 Leagues has no equal... It was an amazing attraction... It was absolutely gorgeous from outside... I remember as a kid just standing along the side watching the subs go by... looking into the deep clear water... There was nothing like it... I still mourn the loss of that one...and the 2 and a half attractions that replaced it, to me do not equal what that was. I am glad the Disneyland version survives...in another form... I am sure we will be feeling a lot of this then the ROA disappears...
