I knew this was the first thing to go. We weren't missing much anyways..
I think it is more a case of budget allocation. My guess with the return of the Nemo musical they don't want to bottleneck that area having 2 daytime shows going on at once can cause that issue..
Even with Nemo slashed to bits, this show simply wasn't pulling the people in that they thought it would, mainly because it is not anywhere near the quality of Disney's shows that people have come to expect. That's why it got cut.My guess with the return of the Nemo musical they don't want to bottleneck that area having 2 daytime shows going on at once can cause that issue..
Are you kidding? This was my favorite new activation.I knew this was the first thing to go. We weren't missing much anyways..
Those Epcot Harnonious barges would have worked well in AKMaybe they'll start working on a nighttime show for AK (ROL or a replacement). I know it's not likely, but I can hope. I'd like to think that they would want to use the auditorium they built in some way.
I agree, by moving the battleship armada from EPCOT, we can finally show nature who is boss. Those Epcot Harnonious barges would have worked well in AK
I personally think those barges belong no where but the bottom of the seven seas lagoon if they’re going to be permanently docked all dayThose Epcot Harnonious barges would have worked well in AK
I'd assume they'll want something that can be a dining package upsell like the RoL had. But without a night show, they can close before nighttime and save a ton in operating expenses.Maybe they'll start working on a nighttime show for AK (ROL or a replacement). Are they really saving that much? Animal Kingdom (without a night show) currently closes at 8 p.m. Hollywood Studios and Epcot (both with night shows) close at 9 p.m. Can 1 hour really save that much?I'd assume they'll want something that can be a dining package upsell like the RoL had. It might, depends what trend they've seen in crowds the last hour. Does it balance out the operating costs? Are they really saving that much? Yes you would be surprised at how much trimming an hour off saves in operating costs, and maybe even more surprised at what lengths the company will go to in order to save costs. Are they really saving that much? They can do us worse and go back to the 5pm closure again...Are they really saving that much? Animal Kingdom (without a night show) currently closes at 8 p.m. Hollywood Studios and Epcot (both with night shows) close at 9 p.m. Can 1 hour really save that much?
