I can see everything but #3. That would require reprogramming the ride. Besides, they're he**bent on not disrupting the theme of GE. #6 would have to be outside GE. Maybe in the central hub. Whatever. The rest of the park could easily have been overlaid as you indicate.
They need to tell Lucasfilm to bug-off with that crap. It'd make sense giving into Lucasfilm's stupid demands if they were the #1 studio at Disney. But their last couple movies have underperformed & the shows are starting to die down too. I don't think they're in any position to tell one of Disney's biggest moneymakers what to do.

It's even worse because George Lucas allowed goofy stuff like the Star Wars Weekends dance offs to happen. If the series' creator allowed that then why can't the current company allow Galaxy's Edge get some holiday theming?

Ha, George Lucas has no say in that property after he sold it and LucasFilms is a wholly owned subsidiary of DIS now so who cares what they put in concrete splashland? Lucas is just a few steps and a banana peel away from becoming just another Disney character just like they've done to Walt.

The next JN party is tonight and its still not sold out. Wonder if that will be the trend. You can walk up and purchase a ticket. Another question is after MVMCP sells out all nights, will there be a fluctuation to this party such that additional JNs start selling out?

Not until there's more positive word of mouth. Opening reports were a disaster but they made some improvements and have a chance to build some momentum. I'm at the event tonight so will see how it goes.

Our review of the party was it was enjoyable. We had a very good time. However, was it actually worth the price? I have to say no. If they had given cookies and a big candycane, it could have been a reasonable value. The shows were great and the Brown Derby and Tip Top club were fun. The music and entertainment were quality even with the normal Disney prices.

Check in was a breeze. We did this at Grand Ave. Walked up around 5:45 and there was no wait.

Oga's is supposedly dead during the event. Not a surprise because as has been said many times here, there's nothing party related to get people in. I'm confident the missed revenues here will at least get people asking the right questions and maybe lead to changes next year.

PizzaRizzo still closes at 5 and later reopens with their special menu. I thought it'd just stay open after 5 but I rolled up and it was down. Had to cross over to Catalina Eddie's for the kids.

I can't recommend enough that AP holders or people with hoppers get in early to enjoy the park. Lines are long so we've only hit stuff like First Time in Forever, Epic Stunt Spectacular, MV3D, Santa meet, and Oga's. I think easing into any Disney event is a more enjoyable experience, it helps to have time to decompress from transportation, check in, etc.

Also, maybe avoid plaid. I didn't consider my outfit choice until a real Plaid teased me. I helped a few with Fantastic questions and it's been fine.

They made an announcement over PA system when park closed that tickets are still available.

This is really significant given that this is Thanksgiving week, the second most crowded time at Disney World. If they can’t sell out a party tonight, boy, I don’t think they can sell it out period. First impressions matter.

HISTORICALLY the 2nd busiest week. It's been a weird year where the holidays are some of the least busiest times for Disney so far.

Looks like 11/20 didn't sell out. It's just grayed out. If it did sell out, it would continue to say that as 11/11 and 11/18 still says.

So we went to the party last night. We didn't do any shows and hit up rides most of the night. Even though the crowds were low we were running from ride to rides. It felt rush and I wish we had more time. We probably wouldn't do it again next year.

they just forgetting about HHN?
Well HHN has 10 additional attractions made exclusively for the event every year from scratch that each require 2 dozenish employees to staff, 5 scarezones that each have a dozen additional employees, 1-2 shows and is a 7 hour event. Seems a lot more acceptable to charge extra for that given the additional effort and cost then Jollywood.

Seeing a lot of takes that it needs to be an hour longer .... Would that change your view if it was 4 hours instead of 3?
