Don’t quote me, but I thought that Skipper Canteen took place sometime around 1936, but I could be wrong. I know that there are dates posted somewhere inside the restaurant.

36 sounds about right. I know it was after 1931, but I didn't think it was much after that. So, 36 lines up pretty well. Thanks!
