It's not really directed to you...

I've just seen a variant of "why wouldn't they want to build marvel rides?!?!?" About 10,000 times...

...to which the simplest answer is "free money"

As opposed to breaking the contract and building rides in their parks that people flood anyway...which is "the opposite of free money"

I know what they can do...take all the Marvel stuff and put it in a park geared toward fantasy or movies...maybe they should build some parks with those themes.

Well, they aren't going to keep Star Tours as Star Tours. It is outside the Galaxy's Edge area. I think the plan is for ST:GE to get up and running and then shut down Star Tours. Then they need to change Star Tours' building exterior and interior theme and come up with a new ride video..... OR, they move the sims to an existing building that has bays ready for them (WoL), and they re-theme that building. Then they can demo or convert the Star Tours building to something that fits that area. Might be a shop or a restaurant or a new ride.
That straight enough?

Still confused at why they are spending so much time on a building with no supposed future. Should someone remind TDO that there is another pavilion just a striaght line shot across FW that needs even more attention.

It has a present and a future as both a festival center and for private events, both of which produce considerable revenue.

Just because a building does not house an attraction does not mean it is useless.
