i believe your idea hinges on the relocation of some roadways yes?
Yes some would need to be rerouted around the new borders. But it's really just a rough idea not to scale or anything by any means. I'm mainly looking at the former Backlot/LMA site for a Pixar Expansion and former Indy site for Star Wars. Just an idea.

Is there anything out there that shows an idea of what/where might be in the works? I have a general idea from reading through the posts on several threads but honestly don't keep up enough to see everything.

I'm not an accounting person, but it seems like a substantial amount to me. Hm.

It is super interesting to read through the annual report though, I never though to do that before!

If those figures are accurate, and I've not checked them but even 15% on $2bn is a profit of $300m, now that's across both WDW and DL. Given the cost of the DCA style renovation for DHS would be probably in the region of $1.5bn, that's 5 years worth of profits leaving no investment for any other park in that time period.
Now also if you spend that much capital investment, your running costs are also going to increase - that needs to be factored against the likelihood of higher visitor numbers and/or increased profit margins.

We always purchase either MYWT for 10 days with Park Hopper or APs so we never considered if the park is actually worth the entry for a one-day-ticket. If we break it down to one day we pay less than 35 bucks per day and thats still less than 28 € for the 10 day MYWT. It's definitely worth that money and it has even won IMHO with getting rid of the abominable American Idol geek show and the incredibly boring "Closed Studios Backlot Tour".

Ticket prices in various countries vary a little but yup, a 10 days pass currently runs at $375 so $37/day
or take the Water Parks & more option at $440, so $44 a day but gives you 10 visits to the other attractions - potentially another 10 days at the water parks.

Single days are very expensive, longer day options are very cheap. APs are also very cheap for what they offer, of course they do kind of tie you in to making good use of them then, you probably need at least 12 days a year for an AP to become decent value.
