I know has a topic in Disneyland forum on this site, but then Patent mentioned Tarzan besides Spiderman and it tells me Disney wants this technology more than Marvel attractions.

The description name dropped Tarzan and Spiderman. Here is the description of the patent: "One goal in designing the ride system was to deliver an experience similar to what it would feel like to be with Tarzan or a similar character swinging between trees of a jungle on a vine or with Spider-Man or a similar character swinging on webs between buildings as you move down streets of a city".

Here is a picture I saw of the technology:

Interesting concept, but IMO, it looks kind of like your standard theme park ride like Carowinds' Pirate Ship ride but just turned sideways....

The obligatory word of caution....

Just because Disney has patented something doesn't mean that they actually plan to use it. To many times when these patents are posted people scramble to figure out what ride this will be used for and totally forget that one of the possible answer is "no ride at all".

This is upside down FJ? That's what it looks like to me. Hopefully they build a Tarzan coaster at DAK or in AL.

Edit: the general concept, I know it looks nothing like the FJ ride vehicles and system.
