Granted, Walt/Roy or the CM Intro with FITS, Wishes & HEA doesn't change the whole Enchantment that comes after...but it gives a much needed 50th Feel and Look to a MK Fireworks Show, even if it's a Pre Tag......

Wonder if any word about the CM Enchantment was in those Survey Reponses..............

Adding 2 minutes of Walt at the begining won't fix the problem. That's like inviting people to dinner at Victoria and Albert's, and after the first course, we leave and finish our meal at a Waffle House.
I don't understand this perspective.

Disney made a huge mistake with the direction of Enchantment. But there are zero downsides of "correcting a wrong". Adding Walt, Roy and Mickey while the 50th is still going is better than nothing.

If anything, Roy deserves that 2 minute spot from WDW's Dedication Ceremony.

I agree if this is for Public.....it should make People feel a little better about DE!

Of course, we'll be wondering where this was a Year ago............

adding this in now feels like more of an admission of failure than not doing anything and just changing the show back to HEA or whatever next year

Yeah, I mean if you read between the lines here, the only reason they are able to even do this is because they are dropping Enchantment after the 50th. Which as you said, is a straight up admission of failure; at least to those who care/are paying attention.

Just in time before they remove "Walt" from Walt Disney World, if you believe the rumors.

Looking towards 2023......was HEA's Projections altered a lot for the 50th Decor? I know the 50th Crest came during the Return. When the 50th Decor is being removed, can Projections be adjusted on the fly every night? If not, what show is best during the Removal???

HEA ran plenty without the decal. I don't think this would be an issue.

Projections for HEA exist with both no decorations and 50th decorations.

Enchantment, on the other hand, would require a completely new intro without decorations. Its intro completely relies on that 50th decorative hardware being there.

I wonder what percentage of people visiting Walt Disney World today could even identify a photo of Walt? I would guess it is a pretty small percentage. For Roy, I'd guess it's almost zero. In fact, I'd guess most average guests wouldn't even know who Roy was if they heard the name. Therefore, I wonder how much meaning these additions will have to the average guest who doesn't spend their leisure time on a fan forum.
