i Personally hope happily ever after doesn’t return. We do not need to bring back old stuff. New shows only should be introduced. Personally they could get by with using Enchantment until the 100 year anniversary celebration that most likely will bring a new show.
Major disagree. Happily ever after was still new when it got cut. It was only 3 years old. That's barely a thousand shows if even a thousand shows. It did not have the life span of a typical nightly spectacular, especially one that was actually good. Given those two factors. Definitely bring it back.

Do you know what frustrates me about this whole thing? Companies and the people that work there make mistakes. Happens all the time. That's just a part of life. And while Disney has made more mistakes in recent history than usual, Disney Enchantment might be the one recent mistake that they can correct overnight.

With Park Pass, there are logistical constraints in place that prevent them from removing it. With Genie+, they don't want to make too many changes all at once, they want to get it right the second time. But with a nighttime spectacular, there are no financial or logistical constraints into reverting the show. None.

But they refuse to do it. They refuse to admit that their latest production isn't up to par. They refuse to admit that staff and guests alike all universally agree that not only the previous show was better and more fitting but so was the previous previous show. Internally, they are all asking the same thing, "when is Happily Ever After returning?"

Their ego leaves a lot to be desired. And if we can't trust them to bring us their best when it costs them nothing, how can we trust them to bring us their best when there are significant financial/logistical constraints at play?

I understand a company with this much history having pride. They should take pride in their product. It would not be hard to spin an updated HEA as a new offering to “keep the 50th celebration going.” But they won’t. DE will continue disappointing nightly.

They could run Enchantment in the Once Upon a Time time slot with only Fantasyland/castle accent shells and run the pyro-gutted version of Happily Ever After that they ran last summer in the main time slot. All in, the same pyro costs and we get both shows without them having to swallow their pride and fully admit defeat. A little unconventional, but they could make it work.

In fact, I'd argue that this would help alleviate queues even more as people would be spending more time in the hub at night. So there's actually an upside here.

They would never do this, though.

We have never felt such energy and excitement as that first HEA. It truly was something to behold.
The energy of the first DE was something else, too. It was like 9th grade, when we elected doofus Tyler Sinclair class President as a joke and then we’re like, “oh no, what have we done?”

It was my first experience with politicians over promising and under delivering.

We still had homework.

Happy 5th birthday, Happily Every After.. 😢
Thanks for reminding me!!! First time I thought about it all day! Sad!!!!! Boy, A lot has changed, ESP after March 15, 2020! Sad!!!!!!!

With that, I still like Enchantment. Could it be improved for the Public like the Cast Parties?? Heck Yes!

However, I'm having a difficult time with the Polling(if there is any). If Guests' satisfaction and mood is that bad every night, Should HEA's Return(if really true)wait till March 30th 2023 or whatever 50th End Date DPB gives us???

I'm still a little disappointed the Public hasn't welcomed DE in yet! The Streamers that I follow now embrace it and it sure ain't Mix Magic from DL!!!!!

I kind of like DE 75% as much as HEA, so I don't hate it. But I like this idea. Keep the projections, make people watch it as they're lining up for fireworks anyway, and then run the narrative from the other show. They wouldn't even have to shut down FL any earlier if they kept pyro at the same times.

As @ToTBellHop has basically said, bringing HEA back is a no brainer, and would cost next to nothing. Further, It would boost GSAT @ MK and would keep guests in the park longer ($$$). I would never ever leave MK and miss HEA, and would often hop to MK just to see HEA. I would rather go watch Harmonious, which still isn’t really my favorite. This show lacks any heart, and it’s pyro display is lackluster. I could go on and on, but I will continue to say, DE needs to “glow away into Disney history” (and for good).

I was so overwhelmed with emotion as the exciting orchestra intro played. I was blown away with the anticipation it built before the narration began. Nothing will compare.

One of my favorite things to do is watch the premiere on YouTube. There are a bunch of different recordings. So wonderful to see everyone experience it for the first time.

Happily Ever After is just too good for them to not bring it back...right?

I always go back and watch the last HEA showing on March 15, 2020. Hearing fans, CMs (especially CP kids whose time were cut short) singing was bittersweet. It was like a soft farewell to the show.

Little did we know the show would only come back, with its pyro gashed, for a couple months just to replaced..

I honestly don't even hate Enchantment. I just hate that it replaced one of my favorite things at WDW ever. Enchantment is very pretty visually. Best use of lasers I've seen from Disney besides the show over at EPCOT right now. All of the sequences look very pretty and this is actually amazing to see in person. But the emotional impact aint there for me.
