Heard from someone that that was the original plan for Enchantment before the bad virus took over. Not sure about the validity of that statement but I wouldn't be surprised if it was true and the concept was revisited for HEA 2.0 next year.
How will they put fountains in a moat where everyone can see em, when they can’t keep flumes filled with running water on BTM or waters jumping or holding turtles up in Splash?

If HEA does return, I'd be surprised if it was not modified to include Encanto in some way and possibly Princess and the Frog a bit more prominently. The problem is the show is already quite long, would they actually add 2-4 minutes to it? Either way, I fear that the score will be botched.

No, they wouldn’t lengthen it. Something would be cut. But, they can divide things up since Harm would also get new scenes.

I agree but the issue is that unlike Enchantment, there are few individual scenes that can be cut; much of the tracks blend into one another seamlessly.

I can see them maybe cutting Friend Like Me but that's a really tough one considering it includes Robin Williams. Also, the most likely candidate (We Don't Talk About Bruno) doesn't really fit in the Friendship scene; as it is an unusually upbeat Villain song (to some degree). They could perhaps shorten the Adversity (Villains) scene and add it at the beginning.

Prior to the Adversity scene, the score is just so flawless, I can't imagine any modifications being made to it.

Let’s hope they cut music out better than they did in Festival of Fantasy…

I'm thinking How Far I'll Go will be cut since it's already used heavily in Harmonius. But then if we use that argument, what about Go The Distance. That song and mini-finale is super important to the show/story, leading up to the finale.

Maybe I See The Light is up for replacement, but idk. The soundtrack and show is perfect as is, that I'm afraid how they'll botch a HEA 2.0.

Considering the Hunchback into Brave segment is similar in Harm and neither are tent poles, that could easily be cut with other segments to transition from the previous instrumental. Cut Moana, which is also in Harm, and you don’t even have to worry about a transition after. That gives you 3 minutes. Plenty of time to work with.

Out There can be cut and replaced with Waiting for a Miracle. Would need a little editing to make it from this cued up place to the end...

Exactly! And if some internet fanboys can do this during break time, I assume the actual professionals at Disney should have no issue. They have perfectly-competent composers. They were all busy for the 50th?

Not to mention how great this scene would look on the castle. No need to rotoscope the character to isolate them (or convert them into horrid flash animation versions). Just imagine Casita overlaid on the castle!

Fanboys... UNITE!!

Corner Bob and convince him this was his idea. Make it happen. He was recently spotted at MK searching for the Matterhorn:

I would absolutely hate to see Friend Like Me go. The moment where one of the spires blasts off and goes dark afterward so you get a brief second of "wait, what happened?" is one of the best parts.

Same for Out There. Quasimodo swinging around the castle is really cool (even with the low quality animation).

I firmly believe one of the reasons Enchantment seems like such a downgrade is a lack of similar moments that use the castle like it's a castle and not just a big TV. (If there were any, they weren't memorable enough for me to remember them.)

Someone in corporate noticed fans of Happily Ever After kept recording messages for the Disney SiriusXM channel asking to hear HEA and this person instructed the channel to pull all of these requests and instead make a fake caller who specifically compliments DE and Harm, as though such a person exists.

Still playing “Slappy” Smith’s “Friend like Me” and “Prince Ali,” though. If only there were other versions of those songs by a beloved, departed American talent.

Classy.

I was so disappointed by that channel. I have it as one of my 15-20 favorites that I flip through but they're always either playing something from the Disney Channel or some kind of modern pop version of a classic Disney song. Plus, yes, those dumb Will Smith versions of Aladdin songs.

Once they were playing music from WDW attractions and I was happily shocked. It's generally about a 5-10% hit rate on something I actually want to hear on that channel when I'm flipping through my favorites, though. What's weirder is that they will play something like Once Upon a Dream from Sleeping Beauty then immediately follow it up with two Disney Channel pop songs and I feel like the market for those songs is wildly different. I don't know why they don't do Disney Channel etc. stuff at certain times of the day and Disney movie/attraction music at other times instead of mixing it all together -- or better yet, make two separate channels.
