AMEN! I wish mcdonalds stands would be removed from the park though. With all the amazing food you can only get in WDW how do people still want french fries?

McDonalds is good to have...ON OCCASION.

But, why would anyone want to spend $1.50-$2.00 more to buy something from McDonalds on site than off-site? I'd rather spend that at one of the many fine restaurants.

Responsibility can be shared.

It wasn't that many years ago that McDonalds was promoting their fish sandwiches and chicken sandwiches as a healthy alternative, even though they were fried with animal fat and nutritionally were about the same as burgers.

Employees are trained, and the pricing makes it easy, to up sell customers into supersizing their meals. Promotion and advertising implies that the customer is getting a good meal but that's not nutritionally correct. One of the fast food chains lists their nutritional information per item; they list the bun, burger, pickle etc all separately so the total impact of the nutritional value, or lack there of, of the meal isn't apparent.

Responsibility has to be shared.

I agree wholeheartedly. That's what's going on right now. They're toting the salads as the "healthy" alternative, despite the fact that one packet of dressing (they give you 2) can have up to 18 grams of fat and 190 calories, and they also offer "crispy" chicken (crispy = breaded/friend) in the salads which can add about 10 grams of fat. Doesn't sound "healthy" to me, and it's deceptive advertising at the least. :hammer:

BUT, while McDonald's should have some culpability for this, people still need to take personal responsibility for what they eat. After all, anyone that wants to be healthy should not be within 10 miles of a McDonald's.
