I just wanted to say how wonderful Disney is... they have the best customer service..

Not too long ago my house got broken into and stole most of our money, jewelry, and our safe.... which included birth certificates, $, family heirlooms, etc...and 10-day disney tickets we had just purchased:(:mad:

well we know that tickets aren't usually replaced if lost or stolen, but we figured we'd call about it anyways. Not only did Disney replace our tickets, but they added park hopper, water parks, and paid for the shipping & handling! We were never able to get the rest of our stuff back, but Disney managed to put a little light into a dark situation...This goes to show that Disney really does care about their guests:ROFLOL::sohappy:

I think it's great they added stuff to your tickets :sohappy:, but Disney has always [at least as long as I can remember] replaced lost or stolen tickets. All they need is enough information to identify you in their ticketing system, usually your name and credit card info is enough. Then they deactivate the missing/stolen tickets and activate the new ones with whatever they were worth [or in the case of no-expiry or currently-in-use tickets, whatever value remains].

yeah, i'd forgotten to mention we didn't use a credit card to purchase the tickets.... that was the surprising part about disney replacing them

i am so sorry about your house being broken into. I've never had that happen to me ..but i know how hard it must of been. Disney is amazing..they are willing t go the extra mile for you

Sorry to hear of your misfortune, that must have been devestating.

It is so good to know that Disney rose to the occassion and replaced your tickets, at least you have something good to think about at a time like this. :)

The Happy ending to your story will come when the criminals show up at WDW and attempt to use the de-activated 10 day tickets that they stole from you!
