Disney Dining Plan Question

We are going to WDW (with DDP) for three nights at AKL and then taking a Disney Cruise for four nights and then we are going back to WDW for three nights at POLY. We are not expecting to use all of our meal credits the first part of our stay is there a way to set up the reservation so we can just carry them over to the second part of our stay? Thanks for the help.:)

Dining credits expire on midnight of your check out day; they are tied to the number of room nights on each reservation i.e. you'd have 3 sets of credits each for your AKL stay.

I don't know how well this would work for you, but when we've thought we might not use all of our credits- we made sure to consume our TS meals first and then order CS meals and snacks with whatever was left at checkout and just box it up/bag it/etc. I know you're going on the cruise...but at least the credits aren't totally wasted...i.e. snacks for the road...especially if you're able to get some snackish things that have a longer shelf life.

Nope..they are only good until Midnight on your check out day..for the reservation they are attached to.

If you don't think you're going to use your credits, it will probably work out cheaper to pay for your meals out of pocket on that first stay.

Have you considered not using the dining plan? It might be cheaper to book room only and just pay for the meals you do eat.

If you did some kind of L&S package, maybe there are exceptions? I don't know much about cruising. You could ask on the cruise section.

Good luck.
