So... How much of that "potential" you think they'll be done with by Disney+ day so that this tie in will make sense?
I would hope that is asked rhetorically because my thought would be about as much effort as they typically put into anything these days don't think it is hard to see the potential, and I don't think you need to question my thoughts on it if you look at my responses in this thread or in the post where I said their synergy art is dying.

If this would have been even 20 years ago you would have likely have seen Celebrity panels or Q and As and set pieces/props on exhibit. As I said earlier, maybe even a way to exhibit some form of production that will be on the streaming service.

I guess I'm just not understanding why you replied to my post which was about how the tie-in today makes no sense.

Sure, some day it might but today, it doesn't so...

It was just wishful thinking that it could. I mean It is a show business platform of movies, tv and recorded stage productions. I think the question of how it ties in should be obvious. Your post did not say today so I replied with what should be obvious on a show business platform synergizing with a theme park that has a show business theme in most senses. The festivities choices itself, do not. I see now you meant today.

Okay, that makes sense.

I was starting to think I was taking crazy pills or something for a minute there. :)

Yeah, I see what they could do and had they done any of that, a tie-in like this would actually make some sort of sense but right now, it feels like Disney's version of the "bring an empty can of coke and get..." type of sponsor-only promo day to me.*

*not to say Disney+ is a sponsor of anything, likely relying on revenue from the parks and resorts division to bankroll its current expense to the company but whatever.

They're cross-promoting D+ on the social media of at least one of their games, and the Microsoft Store has it for $1.99 for the first month.

It's too little too late. Disney completely missed their subscriber target and the Street isn't happy.

But… but… $laphead said they are synergizing their ecosystem, isn’t that enough to send the stock up 20 points and produce at least a few billion in profit to give to the shareholders?
