I think an awesome perk would be... if say I called and wanted to apply $500 you Tammy, would put it on YOUR card. THAT would be service. ;):D

Again, ya'll are so nice. I'm so excited to be cool. :)

I've got like 15 minutes left of my 45 minutes of free wifi at Heathrow. :D I'll try to sum up booking cruises through Kingdom Konsultants for you, but I may miss something. Just ask if this creates more questions.

We don't charge fees at all. Booking through us is the same price as booking through Disney. Disney pays us for each booking. Essentially they lose a little money every time someone uses a travel agent. Disney (and other companies) recognize that travel agents bring them business so it's worth it to them.

As a side note, Disney also doesn't allow anyone to discount their cruises. If you see a company advertising Disney cruises for less, look closer. Something is amiss. Some agencies used to hold group booking chunks and clients could save money that way, but Disney (Cruise Line) has discontinued group bookings.

Kingdom Konsultants offers onboard credits as a thank you to clients for booking through us. Yes, we are giving you back some of our commission.

If you rebook onboard and name us at the time of rebooking, you can get our onboard credit and the rebooking benefits from Disney. It's very easy to do. Disney has a place on the form to fill in an agent or agencies name. If you don't name us and change your mind within 30 days, you can transfer your reservation to us.

Disney can transfer any reservations made with them (onboard, online or on the phone) to an agency if it's done within 30 days of the booking. We do lose part of our comission when that happens, so the onboard credit from us may be reduced.

If you're outside of 30 days of booking, the only option is to cancel and rebook. If the price hasn't gone up, it' s pretty painless process. If it's gone up, then of course it may not be worth it. Even for our excellent service. :D

Once you've booked with us, you can still see everything about your reservation online. You can book your own excursions, order gifts, etc. If you want us to handle that part, that's what we're here for. We want to make this easy for you.

We have to do everything involving payments, but that's as easy as sending an email saying - "Tammy, pay $500 today with the card on file."

Great info thanks Tammy

KK told me they can only do on-board credits if you make the initial reservation through them and that I'd have to cancel my reservation and re-make it through them...for $50 I think I'll have to pass on the hassle that is...

I'm guessing that was only because you are outside of 30 days. We can do onboard credits if you transfer the reservation to us, but that only works within 30 days because of Disney's new rules. We may have to reduce them, we look at each case individually. Please message me if you have questions! :)

Edit: I emailed you. I think there may have been a miscommunication in my absence.

Will keep that in mind. Thanks :)

Additionally, I like to remember that the KK agents are all Disney fans like me. When I book using them I'm essentially paying a wee bit of that Disney magic forward. Maybe my little commission contribution helps them get to their happy place a little faster. When you book direct you are giving the commission dollars to Disney's travel company. When you use an agent you're redirecting those same commission dollars to a Disney fan's agency and agents who are Disney fans like ME.

One of my absolute favorite perks is NOT having to deal with the Disney Travel call center people. Every time you call you get a different person and, oftentimes, get different versions of what's what. It's like calling your cell phone provider. Don't like the answer to your question? Hang up, call back, and get a different answer. LOL! Seriously, no sitting on hold, no frustration. No fighting the Disney website. I think the only things you can't do for yourself when you book thru an agent vs. thru the website is make changes to your reservations, cancel, or make payments. If you have questions about your reservations (package/resort) you have to ask your agent. You can't call in. Otherwise, dining, tours, etc. you can do yourself or have the option of handing over to your agent. It's not all that different, really. In fact, it makes it EASIER!!!! (<--IMO, of course!)

Will check when I get home...haven't been able to hit up the boards as often as I'd like for the past week, things have been insane around here...
