Oswald is a very dated property, yes. What I like about him is that he was lost, and then found, and is back in the house of Disney where he was born.
Oswald was given a second chance by Disney using a daring project they bet his future on, I just don't understand why you dislike the Muppets so much? Both them and Oswald arguably have undergone the same arc, both are in states of "limbo" right now after recent/future projects got canned after critical success, both had comebacks during the 2010s, and both Oswald and Kermit resonate with those who discover them today.

You're allowed to dislike Muppets, but I'm just confused on your reasoning why.

Because the muppets killed his grandma, ok?

Because he's biased against the stuff Disney's assimilated. Oswald is allowed to have infinite chances because of his historical significance as Walt's first "Not just directly plagiarizing Felix" star, but Muppets must be buried because of Jim's inferiority to Walt.

As a proud member of Generation X who grew up during the height of Aerosmith's popularity, it pains me to ask this, but: Would the average 25 year old today be more likely to recognize and be interested in The Muppets or Steven Tyler? I don't know the answer, but my suspicion is that it would be the former.

I'm so unhappy about this and have now very little reason to really go to DHS. I don't ride coasters. I'm now left with Star Tours, those new Star Wars things which aren't worth the wait, that Toy Story ride and what replaced the Great Movie ride (which doesn't hold a candle to that and isn't worth the wait times either) So now what? I'm perplexed as to why they would close an attraction that is good for ALL ages in a park that has few of those. The only acceptable solution is the creation of a Muppet mini land there and move the movie there. They should've used the other location for Monsters. If we could get them to save ToT, any chance public outcry could get them to reverse this decision?

this is horrible literally means I will be visiting the studios three more times, then DONE visiting the studios. once to see Muppet vision one last time, one to see monsters once, and once to see the disaster that will be rock n rollercoaster with Muppets, and no reason to waste my money on just tower of terror and restaurants

Heck, I can spend the whole day at the Tune-In Lounge.

At what point do Disney Parks fans move on? We're masochists at this point. It's clear the company that made us fans is long gone. I can write a thesis of the missteps The Walt Disney Company has made in the past 15 years. I'm going to start knitting, snowboarding, or playing pickleball with the other mid-life crisis Americans.
