Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

Okay, so Elsa singing "Let It Go" will be where the three-headed troll was and Marshmallow is taking up residence where the troll who sent riders into the North Sea sat... What about the polar bears?
The polar bear AA from Maelstrom was removed and now lives in the WDW Central Shop. I don't believe that there are any new AAs planned to occupy that scene of FEA formerly occupied by the polar bear. If anything there might be an Elsa AA there but I'm not 100% sure.

Which is a perfect example of why it should have been purpose built in a suitable location to suit the fan base.
That would have taken too long. Olaf needs his warm hugs now while he's still popular. It takes a lot of work to coordinate these marketing opportunities. I heard Disney had to shutdown half of the China based Toy Story Woody plush production line to reprogram the sewing machines in order to produce the new "fat" Olaf plush.

It might have been asked before, but this will have a temperature control in there to actually make the climate cold ?

I'm thinking of the Sea World Penguin attraction, and how they turn the temperature down. Even though that attraction is ghastly bad, the temperature is a good idea.
Somewhere over in the old Frozen construction thread (that was closed), before and after aerial photos showed the roof of the pavilion. Big new A/C compressor units were installed on the roof for Elsa's sake.

And who's fault is that?

20 months is not fast.

Unless you're being a tad sarcastic?
It would have taken much longer had they built a new attraction from scratch. And there was really no need to build a new attraction because WDW has many old attractions that just don't draw the crowds any longer. It makes perfect sense to take a 28 year old attraction that is not popular and reinvigorate that space with a new IP.

And of course I understand how impatient fans can be concerning new attraction construction but you only have a few short days left until Frozen Ever After is open. Book your trip now!

So what is the current state of the frozen franchise among the target demo? Have the waits at PFH evened out. Anyone know how park ops feel about the attraction at present. From the pictures it looks like they didn't go overboard with the toonification outside. The Sami may be a bit much but it is not too saturated with color and seems to blend nicely. Whoever came up with the cold storage sign needs a gold star!

New pic in the construction thread hints at what WS can and I think will be in the not too distant future. Looks amazing. No major 5th gate needed before 2030. IMO.

Sometimes I read your posts and say, "?" to myself after your random "IMO" statements that have nothing to do with anything.

Yes, World Showcase could indeed have characters as far as the eye can see. We already knew that.

Not just m&gs, but new attractions, new restaurants and new shops. Time to fill in all the open land. The new pic reflects how effective this can be as Norway and Mexico are now together.

Just like in the real world.

I thought you weren't supposed to be able to see the pavilion next door while standing in one pavilion?

Depends on what your definition of "in" is. Try standing in the gondola area of Italy and tell me how isolated you are. Most pavilions are horseshoes and yes, from inside of them you would be fully immersed (so long as you don't turn around.)
