Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

Meanwhile, at a certain studios' store out in sunny California....

....a new pin has been seen that is rather timely.

Nothing about that pin makes ANY sense aside from the overlay reference, which also makes no sense. They didnt give us much time to mourn Maelstrom, or the loss of appropriate theming, edutainment, common sense, culture, etc, etc...

They were limited edition online only shirts.

I still wonder if it was really "limited edition"(aka less than 5,000copies)
or Disney brand "limited" (aka 500,000 and they will make even more if its popular).

Not so! Olaf the snowman is clearly paying homage to his namesake, Olaf II, the patron saint of Norway.

Tiny update---The first section of the store that had been closed off since the meetngreet closed, has now reopened (with frozen merch only, no surprise) and new stone flooring. They could be the same tile stone panels that were in Maelstrom's loading area. In a way it feels like a little homage. But then they could just be the same kind but brand new. Anyway that part of the store has reopened. The frozen merch continues as you go, but Norwegian items still in the main troll room and of course the sweaters, helly hansen, and geir ness in the back. None of that is planned to be removed I was told. Big troll staying as well. Lets hope they can and will retain a balenced blend of frozen merch with Norwegian merch and not go all frozen.

What this all says to me is that Disney is telling us:
"We make so many crappy movies these days that when one comes along that actually doesn't suck we have to shoehorn it into every possible location in our theme parks. You will be sick and tired of it in 2 years, but that's ok, because our shareholders And board of directors will be happy in the short term. Don't pay attention to any of our other IP...only Frozen."

your going to have snowballs thrown at you lol...I have to agree that it wasn't my favorite either, not bad, but I dont get all the hoopla. just one of those things I guess that hit it off.
I will say for all the frozen merch stocked in puffins roost, none of it was moving....More people seemed to be interested in the trolls and helly hansen etc, interesting huh.

Actually, I just thought of another tribute that would be pretty cool. As you go backwards in whatever the new scene is, a small sign is seen on one side that simply reads, "back, back, over the falls." Similar to the "fun to be free" sign at Test Track.
