Disney clothing question

I generally wear normal clothes when I'm in Disney. I really don't have opportunity to wear much Disney clothing outside of the World, so I tend not to buy too much Disney-themed clothing. I'd rather buy a nice statue or a few ornaments for the house.

I will say, though, that WDW is one of the few places where I wear my Mission: Space polo as a "business casual" attire at a restaurant...

We've gotten a number of Disney Tees over the years, so we tend to wear them most of the days we're there, regular tops the rest of the time.

Jamie, that is great your mom is a seamstress....Cool...do you have pictures of any of the stuff she's made you. What talent! ~Lucille~

I have a Disney shirt for each day too. My mom is a seamstress, and she makes me some cool things. She always is happy when she's looking at my pictures & sees me in something she made. So I try to wear one each day when I'm in the parks. When not in the parks, I live in sundresses :)

I have a lot of Dinsey T's I love wearing while I am there and of course the day I arrive sometimes I buy something to wear the next day, as I am in the parks etc I gather more stuff, I can't get enough.....Generally I wear T s, Capris, Flip Flop, Cros, Keds and Shorts on occassion. ~Tinkerchelli~

I'm usually in normal clothes as well...tank tops and shorts. If I have anything Disney related, it's usually just the Mickey icon. I like the hidden mickey items as well.

Usually about half the shirts I pack are Disney related(Grumpy, of course), and I always look for new items of this nature when we go. I always come home with extras.:D

Regular clothes

In fact I don't own ANY Disney "logo" clothes.

As much as I like the company, unless they are going to give me stuff for free so I can advertise for them, I am not going to pay and advertise for them.

There are very few logo type things I will wear. I do have some very subtile things made my Disney, but you would be hard pressed to notice them.

To play dev....uh I mean Disney's advocate...I would wear and advertise for Disney. Why? So Disney doeswell. If my wearing Disney gear makes a few people think "Hey, let's go to Disney!" Then Disney gets more visitors. If Disney gets more visitors it does better and can then have more money to make a better product for ME!

I find it a bit peculiar how many of you said you buy Disney clothing while there yet do not wear Disney clothing in the parks....the one place that such apparel would be right at home.

Lucille - I have pics of me in some of them. PM me your email, I'll send you a few. I just sent them to someone else too. In my recent album, I'm wearing a mickey hat she made me while at DHS, and carrying a Tink bag at the Poly (I think you've seen that one already). I can email you others :)

It's rare, but it has been known to happen. It was mostly for when I was little. And a few years ago, I did don a Mickey Mouse Club t-shirt and topped the outfit off with the classic ears. But for the most part, I've been in regular clothes around the parks. I am always looking for fun Disney hats to wear, though :D
