Disney back with Spielberg/Dreamworks

DreamWorks and Disney Agree to a Distribution Deal

Contrary to all the doomsayers, Disney is continuing to move the business forward, and possibly more importantly is back in the good graces of Steven Spielberg.

While it's only conjecture at this point, discussions of other collaborations that were dead under Eisner are now very good possibilities.

There have been rumors around Hollywood that Disney may also be looking at buying Dreamworks too.
The person who told me this lives in L.A. And has been in the Media world for 30 years and does freelance work with the major studios.

Hey, does anyone else remember when Iger said he wanted to do more with Roger Rabbit? Maybe getting Spielberg to join Disney is part of his plan.

The deal is only with the live action part of Dreamworks, the animation part is staying separate.
