I just double checked for you. Yup, my math is pretty damn good. No wonder that high school diploma hangs proudly on my wall.

Paramount's total global box office for their five films in calendar year 2023 as of Tuesday, August 2nd is $1,524,825,526.

I hope you don't mind I rounded that up to $1.525 Million. Again, I was rushing to get spruced up and out the door to a fun dinner.

And honestly, what's $174,474 between good friends? :)

Including a movie that’s been out for less then a week is obviously going to tilt your numbers.

And Wikipedia relies on the constantly updated boxofficemojo for its numbers, which shows M:I with $240 million less at the box office then The Numbers.

The Numbers also doesn’t seem to offer budget numbers for House Party or the financial details of the Sony distribution deals you list.

I think the numbers relies on predictions whereas Box Office Mojo is the actual numbers, but that's just a guess as to why they would be so wildly different.

Reviews are going to be a huge factor. Pretty much any MCU film that has good reviews does decent business. Also, Loki might restore some faith in the MCU

I agree Marvels will be a minor hit at least as much as Antman3 was. However Wish should do much better. I see it as a win. I won't be seeing either one though. Maybe Wish but definitely not the Marvels.
Antman 3 was a loss. I think that might be the ceiling for marvels

Now…I actually like Brie Larson…which about NO marvel fans do.

The backlash has been RIDICULOUS.

So it’s really looking at an uphill climb.

Uhoh…Meg 2 has 0 percent right now on Rotten Tomatoes… granted it’s only based on 6 reviews… still you would think at least a couple was positive
