I've said it before, after a Superheroes first solo movie, all the others should be a team up with an established character. People, myself included, want to see these heroes interact with each other. And besides, its a bit unrealistic that they aren't hanging around each other anyway.
The thing is, they based Cap 3 off Civil War and Thor 3 off Planet Hulk. Is there a comic book story arc that would make sense for an Ant-Man team up - you would think it would be a group of Ant Man, Wasp, BP, Captain Marvel, Spidey, and Doctor Strange.

Or maybe they would use it as a way to introduce some of the X-Men using the Quantum Realm as an excuse for why we haven't seen them.

True, but the MCU is a master at taking storys and adapting it to a certain character. Civil war was Peter parker as the main guy but they adapted it for the overall story they were telling, and the characters they had.

Roll your eyes all you want, but don't forget that Black Widow having feelings for Bruce Banner caused a group to boycott Avengers 2 and left leaning media outlets to turn out the attack stories. Jos Whedon ended up deleting his twitter account after the abuse he got for that one...Somehow, Black Widow is strange political touchstone for a certain group of people that Mr Iger counts himself a part of.

Marvel Studios and Marvel TV are two separate divisions after Feige lobbied to get out from reporting to Ike Perlmutter. There would be too much of a turf war for that to ever happen.

I know. But streaming isn’t TV in the current definition.

And it has been rumored that Ike no longer has any official operating role with the company. But Disney has been super sketchy every time they are asked.

All of the Netflix shows (Daredevil, Luke Cage, etc.) are produced by Marvel TV, not marvel Studios.

Not true.

The netflix shows are TV shows with episodic content.

We haven't had a direct to streaming movie from Marvel yet. What the user is suggesting is a 75-100MM budgeted Marvel movie that is produced by the MCU put directly on the streaming service without a theatrical release. I think that's likely to happen to be honest, along with more Marvel TV shows. Most MCU movies run in the 175-200MM+ budget. There's room for smaller movies.

Forget BW for a second, if Feige wanted to make a movie about Hawkeye - origins or otherwise - it would be smart to do it on a smaller budget without all the P&A cost and put it on Disneyflix. Add content and value to the service while enhance the story of the cinematic world that people have grown to love.

My only issue is if they'll have time to actually do it given they'll probably go to a 4 movies a year theatrical release soonish.

I don't know a lot about what goes on inside Disney. I'm not really any kind of insider. But this I do know.

I trust ya. I was looking for more official information and can’t find it. But I did find an org chart that looks like it is derived from filings that lists him as Chairman Marvel Entertainment, the rest of the marvel leadership looks up to date.

Don't forget the EU too. On top of India, China and Brazil I still am struggling to find out what the remainder of the reported 15 locations are.

When this deal is completely done Disney should take several IP from fox and move them over to the streaming service regardless of how much box office they think they will give up.

They should really consider world building using multiple series to tie together different realities to keep those worlds constantly flowing to the subscribers. How Netflix is working the Marvel tv shows is the perfect example.

They should also merge some realities together to create better more exciting worlds. For instance Disney has a ride called Big Thunder Mountain, Fox also had a movie based on a Zane Grey novel Thunder Mountain, and fox has a ton of old western movies and franchises like the Cisko Kid, now add in the Marvel western characters and they can create a fantastic western world reality with synergy everywhere.

Why not create a Pirate town and theme around it, and do the same using the big E tickets to tie together a reality that Disney can build off of, to add to the parks, and sell merchandise, and IP branding, eventually creating big tentpole movies or new lands to the parks expanding popular e ticket rides.

Up until the mid fifties Disney lacked live action movies, Fox did not. There were a lot of genre's that Disney failed to take part in even after they started to produce live action movies, however Fox was there producing.

Go back to that original show that Walt came up with to fund Disneyland and use his basic ideas to build the streaming service.

build universes around the lands and E-tickets.

Big Thunder Mountain - a western world featuring real and imaginary characters and stories from Marvel, Wonderful world of Disney, the parks, and Fox and Disney's movie and TV library

Jungle Tales - built around the Jungle cruise/ Adventureland features Marvel characters like Kazar and Sheena and tales of Africa, and the savage land or lost worlds

Pirates of Tortuga - a world built around the Pirates attraction featuring characters both real and imaginary

Haunted Mansion presents, Tales to Astonish, Tales of Suspense, Journey's into Mystery, and Strange Tales Four long running Marvel horror anthology titles turned into Twilight zone and Night gallery showcases that build a world of horror and intrigue.

The Vernwellian Verse of Tomorrow - Shows built around the characters of Verne, Wells and other great science fiction writers of their time

The Dimensional realities of Space Mountain - a modern Science fiction anthology that highlights worlds of tomorrow with a focus on alien worlds or parallel universes

The Storybook - features live and animated tales of fantasy some connected some stand alone

Marvels- a rotating spotlight featuring different Marvel heroes in 1 to 10 episode story arcs. Introduces characters like the Fantastic Four into the cinematic universe and hero team ups in shorter arcs.

Planet of the Apes - to big to be anything but its own world

Star Wars - Tales that occur in between the movies or even expand the tale

Then there are the thousands of TV shows and movies that could be remade revived or reimagined

Xenomorph Alien Encounter to replace Stitch :D
I don’t think Marvel in Big Thunder or Adventureland is a good idea, though.

I think its exactly what those areas could use. People want to romanticise their history with heroes and larger than life stories and Marvel's western heroes can fill a large void and shape a fantasy reality that could really expand frontierland, and get around social taboos. They could actually revive the western river expansion that was once planned with IP as valuable as the Avengers were.

The Jungle cruise is very dated and needs a new story and a savage land overlay with dinosaurs and characters like Kazar or Sheena could really bring life to a very stale ride that Kilimangero safaris does ten times better, and I doubt if they would have any problem getting those properties into the park. The could also support an expansion of the land.

Why not.
You know, Marvel and DC have had several events where something happens and the new IP they acquired becomes part of continuity.
Done right it works

The reason why is because Mission Breakout has references to Marvel & Disney in The Collector's fortress so a Xenomorph either in cgi in the videos that play in the queue or a animatronic as a display could be a reference to Fox. For monster's after dark could have the screams of a Xenomorph indicating that is loose.
