Hey Great! i spend all this money elsewhere only to be told that their hair looks too much like a princess, please leave! It's hair, not costumes. Family by Walt it is not, obviously.

It's not about the hair, it's about letting the kids get their special time occasionally. Why can't this be reserved for just the little girls? BBB wasn't around when I was a little girl, but if it had, my mom wouldn't have asked for Disney to do her hair, because although Disney is for the family, sometimes kids should receive the attention. Think about it, have you ever heard a CM call a grown woman "princess"?

Adult women are the reason Tarzan can no longer be seen at DL. Grown women, pushing and shoving kids out of their way and using up all of his time for all sorts of poses and whatnot.

Spare the hyperbole. Time can be spent elsewhere, as mentioned before. The BBB is not the only locale at WDW that either specifically or by practice seeks to keep their clienetele within a certain age group.

Was told by a cm today, " it is because of the article in the orlando Sentinile"
Perhaps the CM thought your wife and older daughters wanted costumes as well. I stand by what I said. It is highly doubtful they would be made to leave for just having their hair done nicely. Unless, again of course, you tell me they are going to try wearing princess costumes... Which would be breaking established Disney dress code, as that ridiculous girl did.

Plenty of people go into the parks dressed up (which is an amusing topic in itself... Why in God's name does anyone need to wear platform heels at the MK??)

Can you understand it's age limited to ensure that all little girls like your 7 year old get to have that same joy she has? And I'm sure still many can't get an appointment.
At that rate, why not allow anyone in the princess meet and greet or Cinderella's dinner unless you have a child accompany you.

Hey that can be the new standard, you must be accompany with a child to enter the park....

It's not an offense. And no one has called it an offense. You can be a kid without getting your hair done. And as said before, there are many spas and salons in the Orlando area where you can be "spending your time with your girls just getting your hair done."

No Sh--! Thanks! We are talking about restricting adults or kids of age 12 or older from enjoying the original WDW! You can only get dolewhips where? Duh? This is not the same. Do some research and read what Walt said. Time gets lost over time.

Seriously I have a 15 and a 18 year old.. they would not be caught dead or me either... in one of those up dos... Just saying! :)

If that doesn't scream "wake me up before you go girl" then I don't know what does. That just takes creepy to another level. Mirror Mirror on the wall who's the creepy lady who wants to be the pixiest princess of all? All joking aside, I'm with Disney on this one. No adults should participate hence this pic supports my reasoning. Pardon me if my jokes offend anyone.

Oh come on. You're totally twisting what I said. BBB is something with a very finite number of spots. Very limited. The way they have Meet and Greets set up, if you want to meet a character you will almost certainly meet them, especially the princesses...which they basically shove into everyone's faces these days.

We argue all the time on this board about how it's ok that Disney doesn't have to have everything geared towards everyone. BBB is for the young age set only. And that's ok. There are plenty of other places adults can have fun. And from videos I've seen it seems the adults have just as much fun seeing their kids having their special moment.

Also, anything in the pirate league is clearly done very carefully so no one is mistaken for Captain Jack. Have you actually seen what they do? It's not remotely close to what Jack looks like except that they basically both wear a hat...

Nothing wrong with saving some things for kids... would you like me to post some more pics of how extremely ridiculous Adults look with this hair do from a few years ago when they did allow adults.. come on people... Lets face it we could just as easy be arguing about why are adults going to BBB and I cant get a Res for my 4 year old... Thank you Disney for not allowing Adults... Now... Smile and move on! :)

Ok, So spend my money off site? does that make much sense when they cant fill reservations currently? I am down for that, take my money out of WDW for a local place.

Really? Not getting their hair done amidst girls half their age takes away from the overall vacation? So I suppose the opposite holds true for those youngsters that can't dine at Victoria & Albert's, get into Jellyrolls after dark or enjoy spa time with their mother and/or father? I'm sure they're utterly devastated.

Disney sets up parameters for all age groups. They have nothing against you and yours, or any other adults.

Why do you keep bringing up Walt? When Walt Disney imagined Disneyland and wanted something for everyone, he was mainly referring to attractions. I don't think he was thinking both women and their daughters should be able to look like princesses when they go to Disneyland!

Seriously, is it really that big of a deal?
