30 minutes for Pan & 7DMT? Im sorry but I would be angry with that if I was paying. The wait should be 5-10 minutes for what they advertised.

But the morning after everything, including PP was a walk on as apparently they forgot to tell guests the park was open. Loved it.It was still an hour wait the morning of Hurricane Charlie.
..... damn i'm old.
Im pretty sure they are calling it a failed event because they had to allow DVC people in for free to get people to go.If I had paid $150(or more)to attend I wouldn't call an empty land a fail. It would have been exactly what I wanted. However, I probablywould never spend the money to get in like that.

please keep the updates of this failed event coming!
If it was like the E-Ticket nights where you payed a smaller amount that would be cool. Heck, I would pay 30 bucks a pop to be in there for unlimited ice cream, soda and walk on rides.I'm glad people had small lines and were able to do things however aren't these the same things they can do with just a regular park ticket and with small lines if managed correctly and/or being there for rope drop?
I wonder if Disney slipped something into those magical ice cream bars to make everyone think how worth it this event was
To think there were only estimated 1,000 people there and a good portion I'm sure we're free dvc'ers and free bloggers sounds like an epic failure to me. My guess is the future ones may be even worse...but hey...all you will hear from Disney and the lap dog bloggers is how awesome and great it was regardless

Getting there early would only get you a ride or two on Seven Dwarves or Space Mountain or Big Thunder. I don't think you could get three rides on each just by arriving at the park at 0845.
As philbarr2001 posted, he wanted on day/night in the Magic Kingdom before a cruise. He had the option of spending $117 for 9am to 11pm in the park or spending $149 for 7pm to 1am in the park. Yes you get eight hours less with the special event ticket, but look how much he got done in the evening. Plus a backpack full of soda and four Mickey ice creams.
In most cases the event price doesn't seem worth it, particularly if you have access to evening extra magic hours. But if you are considering paying for a full price single day ticket for the MK, then going for the After Dark ticket instead for the extra $32 may make sense. However the cases where the price is reasonable is very small, hence the very low number of tickets purchased. If they had priced closer to the one day price (say $119) they might have sold a few more.
Crowds are still there at 7pm so let's do the comparison at 10pm. No parades, fireworks, shows, either which to me is worth seeing more than a Mickey ice cream bar and a coke (and paying more)
personally I've been to the parks as they open and hit several of those popular rides with basically little to no waits and then you can fast pass 3 others from there with little to know waits and now we can even book additional fast passes from there. While I don't like crowds, I also don't like this new trend of paying more for less
Uhh...yeah, that was the point. Not sure why it was so complicated. It would love to have been there, but $$$ was too steep.Well, thats what youre paying extra for.
Appears 1 only was not the case...... how many could we eat that late at night?? I could down 15 or so....what a valueIs it true that its only 1 ice cream and 1 soda??
You are my spirit animal.Ended up doing 15 headliners or near-headiners (and had 4 Mickey Bars) in 3 hours.
Final # of tickets sold I heard was 300 and "maybe" 1000 total number of guests in the park. As the park closed there were more CMs on Main Street than guests. They said it was only worth it if you LOVEMine Train and Mickey Bars.
From what I'm hearing, Disney also labeled last night as "sold out" to hype further interest in the event and make a good press story.
