It's amazing at how many bloggers from Disney fan sites are in attendance this evening. (I'm guessing they didn't have to buy tickets so they can report how wonderful the event is.)

This beggars belief. What little faith I have left in the leadership is seriously in jeopardy. Still love it, but man, I didn't think I'd see the day when maximum profit was the only business driver for the company started by a mouse.

EDIT- Darn it, it IS a banned site. Sorry about that. Well if you want to find it, google "Disney wait times" and it's about 5 links down.

EDIT 2- Looks like they stopped updating it just now. Longest waits were about 30 minutes for Mine Train and Peter Pan. Big Thunder and Buzz had 5...

Am I the only one getting a Ray Bradbury vibe from the carousel pics on twitter? Is it running forward or backward?

My overall opinion as a 1200 mile away viewer: the MK looks a bit spooky. Would be almost perfect if Maleficent would glide through the scene without saying a word to anyone. However, I don't think that's the effect Disney was going for. I realize the park is large, and folk are split up among the rides, walking between the rides and eating icecream, but there is no way there are 3000 people there. "Sold out"?

If I had paid $150(or more)to attend I wouldn't call an empty land a fail. It would have been exactly what I wanted. However, I probablywould never spend the money to get in like that.

I saw reports that someone had 3 mickey bars... and rode every single ride twice with zero waits. They said it was awesome.
