They are moving on to Christmas sales shortly.
Are we going to get a announcement before sales begin? Guessing it will be the same way it was for Boo Bash with resort guests first?

That was short lived. They just sold out Sept 14th yesterday. I think people are going to in for a shock in the amount of people in the parks.September 14th is now available again for booking.
Current sold out dates -
August - 10, 17
October - 5, 8, 10, 12, 15, 26, 29, 31
This has certainly been one of the strangest ticketed events at WDW that we've seen.September 14th is now available again for booking.

I continue to be perplexed by the fact that the first and last parties sold out and remained sold out. It could be a good thing, a bad thing, or completely irrelevant. We're going to the first one, so I have a vested interest. This has certainly been one of the strangest ticketed events at WDW that we've seen.
Please report back here and tell us how it went. These parties should be limited capacity. This will be interesting to see.I continue to be perplexed by the fact that the first and last parties sold out and remained sold out. It could be a good thing, a bad thing, or completely irrelevant. Speculation I've read is that Halloween sold out because it had larger capacity to begin with due to anticipated higher demand, and that capacity for the first date was kept low so all the bloggers would give it a great review and unwittingly help Disney sell out the rest of the dates on false pretenses.I continue to be perplexed by the fact that the first and last parties sold out and remained sold out. I certainly hope it's that simple.I believe you read that, but I don't believe that to be true.
I think both parties sold out because both would have the most demand - the first for vloggers, etc. and the second because it' Halloween.
We know they increased capacity later for other parties, but not those. Is it your feeling that both of them started out with higher capacity than the other BBs to begin with?I believe you read that, but I don't believe that to be true.

The only party that has never opened back up for sales after sellout is the first party. None of the other early parties were sold out so people just assume they had space added after other October parties got more slots. Halloween sold out 2 or 3 times on the first day and reopened before finally closing it off. Was reported to be a glitch, so I don't think we even know they didn't add capacity to Halloween on that day.We know they increased capacity later for other parties, but not those. Now we know that a bunch of dates in Oct sold out and later on more capacity was added, but IIRC August and Sept was still open at the time other than 8/10. No way of knowing if they just added to October assuming higher demand and day attendance with the 50th celebration.
Ok, thanks for the clarification. There were 2 dates in September (21st and 24th) that had tickets added when October did.
