Streaming services aren't very popular in Russia though. Prior to Netflix suspending operations there they had 700,000 subscribers. In a country of 155 million.

My guess is they'll do big multimillion dollar licensing deals with (privately-owned-and-not-sanctioned-by-US) broadcasters to get Disney+ stuff there.
I think the writing is on the wall. Disney Channel (and Freeform and XD and Junior) feel pretty doomed, globally.

Great for them to see a subscriber increase. On the surface people will directly compare Disney+ increase to Netflix decrease, but I think it really shows how price elastic streaming services are. Disney obviously bet on this with a low starting subscription cost that it's not increased since launching almost 3 years ago. A good way to maybe shield themselves is to increase the price during an economic turndown and then blame the economy for inevitable lost subscribers.

I feel sorry for international fans of Amphibia, The Owl House, and The Ghost and Molly Mcgee who have to wait until both shows finishes airing before hitting Disney+ in those countries.

Guest ratings for this immersive experience, which opened March 1st, are incredibly high, and in line with our best-in-class offerings. Demand is strong, and we expect 100% utilization through the end of Q3.

They increased it at least once IIRC but it is still pretty cheap compared to other services.

Quick! Throw out your best guesses for today's dumb commentary from Christine McCarthy!
"This summer we're raising the indoor air conditioning temps two degrees and expect to see clothing sales increase 10% from sweaty purchasers all while we save 5% on energy costs. People will thank us for the opportunity to buy merchandise in their social media photos." /s
