Disney has just released some great rates on most 3-, 4- and 7-night sailings in January and February of 2010. There is even a discounted 7 night sailing in March.

Offer Details:

•3-Night Bahamian Cruises from $399 per person, double occupancy
•4-Night Bahamian Cruises from $499 per person, double occupancy
•7-Night Caribbean Cruises from $899 per person, double occupancy

Here are the sail dates:

•3-Night Cruises: Jan. 7 – Feb. 25, 2010
•4-Night Cruises: Jan. 10 – Feb. 28, 2010
•7-Night Cruises: Jan. 9 – Feb. 6, 2010 and Feb. 20 – March 6, 2010

We are sailing the end of August. Would it be totally spoiling my kids to go again this soon?

Those are some Amazing prices. Maybe I will just go along and pay for two people :)

Silly question...are kids charged the same rate?

The short answer to that is no, the kids are charged lower rates.

Here's the long answer -

The third and fourth passengers are charged lower rates, with young kids being charged the lowest rate. If it was just two people sailing, one adult and one child, the child would pay the adult price.

Did I miss something? Did rates go up that much since I last looked three years ago. These rates are higher than ones a few years back. I dread what regular prices must be now.

It depends. These are definitely discounted, because I just priced some of these cruises a week ago, and they are now several hundred dollars less.

But if you book right when Disney releases the new cruises (i.e. last fall for these dates), you can get prices close to these. What's unusual is finding cruise prices going down within a few months of sailing. In times past, they only went up after they were first released.

Two adults one kid (actualy one adult two kids, but you pay the two adult rate)

4 nights, end of August - $2,800

Yeah, these are deals.
