This morning I am continuing what has become a Saturday morning ritual for me: enjoy breakfast and read through some of the posts on WDWMagic. However, if what I've been reading today is taken as fact, then I should seriously consider canceling my trip to WDW in August.

So far this morning, I've learned:
1. The new TT is awful and is not an upgrade over the old.
2. FLE is nothing more than a couple of things to look at and a restaurant.
3. I should never ride EUE because it will put me to sleep.
4. EE is a waste of time because the Yeti is still broken.
5. DHS should be boycotted because they haven't replaced the Backlot Tour yet.
6. I should go to Universal instead.
Need I go on?

Despite all of the haters, I'm counting down the days until we arrive back in our favorite place in the world (120!!). From now on, I need to find a way to steer clear of the posts by those who find everything that is wrong with WDW and nothing that is right (You know who you are!). There are several posters who will post from right inside WDW the moment something goes wrong, and then we get a long thread about how much Disney is falling apart. It is interesting that we rarely hear from those who are in WDW having a great time with their family and friends. Why is that? Because they're too busy enjoying themselves to have to inform the whole world that there was a hotdog wrapper lying on the ground, or that the dog's tail in PoC wasn't wagging.

If anyone finds that it is so important to post the minute something isn't working properly, then by all means, feel free. It just makes me wonder about your motives for being there in the first place. Who goes to WDW looking for things to go wrong? I'm usually too busy thinking about what we're going to do next...

honestly.. if someone has enough time to post on here directly from Disney they obviously aren't doing Disney right.. seems like they are either negative ppl or having a bad time and want to bring others down with them.. I was just there last January and my sister in October... we had fabulous times.. not a single complaint except that we wish we could have stayed longer...

176 days till my disneymoon!

This has encouraged me to start a thread taking shots at people who go to WDW and never complain or notice anything wrong.

I don't care what your trip itinerary is or how you perceive your park visit. Starting a post about how positive you are and how negative others are is not the way to start a discussion.

As you know, companies more so hear about what they've done wrong as opposed to what they have done right. I'm a believe that if no one is saying anything, then things are alright.

well the new TT is great IMO you know fits future-world? the same future-world people rage on about how its not well...futurey....so they replaced an aging dust infested...AWFUL Que and outdated ride with the looks and shine of 2013....shame on Disney....oh no they used screens....ZOMG how could they remove those engine blocks and "real" flashing lights with some of the cleanest looks in WDW.....

I like to hear both sides. I've been enough times myself that I can weed out the ones who really are complaining to just complain and they aren't probably real happy in life. I always remember 'that misery loves company', so they're hoping to start something. As much as I love Disney, I know it will not always be perfect.

dear lord ppl.. all MarkndAmy was saying that it's depressing logging on here, looking forward to his/her vacation and seeing nothing but negative things posted on here. I don't see that as complaing. it is depressing to look forward to something and have ppl pop ur bubble. yes, they are allowed to be all OMGOMGOMG DDJFKRC IM IN DISNEY! because quite frankly that's the state of mind u should be in while there. it's supposed to be magical and more about the feeling of just being there versus what's wrong with the rides.

sounds like some of u need to remember what it's like being a kid. have a cookie or something and cheer up

I couldn't have said it better myself. thank you

I think that is true for the internet in general, not just Disney. People are generally more motivated to log on and post a review of a restaurant, for example, after they have a bad meal versus a good meal. Or when they get bad customer service versus good customer service. I don't think it's specific to WDW.

I would just try not to click on the negative threads if they bring you down! There are plenty of fun threads too from what I see (sort of a new person here, that's my impression anyway).

The critical threads don't bother me because I happen to enjoy talking about the business side of WDW but I kind of manage to keep it separate from thinking about the fun I am going to have there too. And I think that most comments that are critical are really coming from a place of love for the place. But I can see how they would be depressing if they do bring you down, everyone is different.

If WDW is your favorite place of all time, why do you care about what we think and why do we effect your plans?

If you want to go, go. I'm a Disneylander on MiceChat and there are a few people who said they didn't like Cars Land and it was highly overrated. That's their opinion, but do I care? No, because in my opinion, Cars Land is the best thing that has happened to Disney in California in years. So what if people complain? If WDW is where you want to be, then be there and don't let us motivate your plans.

BTW, it's not a horrible thing if people can't help but notice things, especially if it's really obvious (yeti). There are no motives and I would argue the people who do make WDW accountable and complain are bigger fans than those who go, never see anything wrong and are there "to just have fun." It's called being realistic. Even Walt Disney was always trying to make Disneyland better and constantly improve the place.

The members on this thread tend to be beyond the average "OHMYGOSH IT"S DISNEYWORLD AND I"M HAVING FUN SKFSFLJSfSFJDDSA!!!!!"

As you know, companies more so hear about what they've done wrong as opposed to what they have done right. I'm a believe that if no one is saying anything, then things are alright.

These same people you say are having a good time are also clueless to the sorry state of WDW attractions, entertainment and innovation.
So if people go to WDW and have "a good time" then they are "clueless . . . "? "Clueless", really?
