Could be, but in that case it has either broken on two separate days out of the last 8. Or has been broken for 8 days. Either way I deem it unacceptable.

That is one effect that seems to be about 50/50 when I ride. It's such a kewl effect when it works, too...it just seems so boring and anti-climactic without it. But in later trips, I never noticed it again.

I still pretty much get the bejezus scared out of me when the carnosaur comes out of nowhere...where they take your picture. I HATE being on that side of the rover.
