Wasn`t the pterodactyl de activated permenentley? Its still up there, but unlit now as well if I recall (shame about the "incomming" shout from Seaker)

The dino does chase the Time Rover, although I don't remember breathing or "snot"...the vehicle goes rather fast to notice that.

When it was CTX, I'm certain there was breathing because I ran home and told everyone about it. Of course, there is the possibility that I was so scared out of my mind, I only THOUGHT he had breathed on me. This was in '98 and we rode it a few different times.

But in later trips, I never noticed it again.

Yeah, I hate when I notice stuff like that. Was just at AK on Sunday and the poachers' getaway jeep wasn't working.

That is one effect that seems to be about 50/50 when I ride. It's such a kewl effect when it works, too...it just seems so boring and anti-climactic without it. But, high tech effects have their good days and bad days...none quite as bad as the hopping Brer Rabbit lol

I also remember Dinosaur being more frightening when I first rode it...
I still pretty much get the bejezus scared out of me when the carnosaur comes out of nowhere...where they take your picture. I HATE being on that side of the rover.
I seem to remember that when Dinosaur the movie came out that Disney tamed the ride a little so that the little ones could ride it without being so scared...maybe nixing the chase was part of that?

I don't know if it's 50/50 or not...when they're running a whole lot of tours through at once, this effect, AND the bridge breaking underneath your vehicle seem to not always be running...it just seems like if there are one or two too many vehicles being dispatched to help keep the crowd down, they have to sacrifice these effects...I think it's all a timing thing...

By the way...I'll have me pics of the trip up in a few days...

I went to all four parks this week and i did notice everything you guys are saying, the crash effect does not work at test track along with any other effect in that scene, the doors are open and you just go trough them.
When I rode Dinasour I did notice that there is no chase now, the dino just lights up, but a funny thing happened the second time I rode it, it seemed that there were to many cars operating in the ride so just before I got to the Carnator where you take the picture btw he's on the right side of the car, the car slowed down and so did the one in front of us but they got the go slow just where the Carnator comes out and we could hear them screaming so hard and it was funny because every one who was in the car with me started to get some what scared because of the same thing happening to us, we kept going slow, we could see the dinasour now as we were going slow, but thankfully just before taking the picture, the speed came back to normal. :sohappy:

i think if the ride is working properly that the dino in fact does case you and does breathe on you..........if working correctly

ohhh btw is spalsh mountains animatronics back 2 normal? i hate it when some are broken like the hopping brer rabbit mentioned b4!
