Dinosaur Ride Question

At the end of the Dinosaur ride in the AK, right when you head for the Carnosauras (sp?), is there a drop? Because I know this ride is like the Indiana Jones ride in the Tokyo Disney Sea park and that ride has a drop at the end and people say that both of these rides have the same exact track.

It's more like a ramp downward than a drop.

Essentially it's the same ramp that you drive up when going through the first time tunnel, but you drive down it. (The finale tunnel might be slightly steeper)

Yes, it is exactly like Disneyland.

Really? I never would have guessed that in a million years, although of course it has similar vehicles etc. But I remember Indiana Jones travelling around a lot more, like going on the bridge above the other tracks and whatnot. Whereas Dinosaur I just remember pretty much going out and coming back.

But while other parks get a cool Indy ride, WDW gets stuck with this so called "thrill" ride. I think its one of the worse rides in all of WDW. Its really dumb and cheesy!!

I like Dinosaur, but I too would prefer the theming of Indiana Jones over what we have...

I like Dinosaur too, and from what I understand, the theming for I.J. is really cool - I'd like to have both. If they can have 3 Dumbo-style rides (Dumbo, Magic Carpets - both of which are in the MK, and Triceratop Spin), why can't they have Dinosaur AND Indy? (other than the obvious "it's really expensive to do both" arguement....) I guess I just answered my own question....still, I'd like to have both, so there....

I also think that the Indy ride is cool too. But Dinosaur is one of my family's favorite rides. We always look for that classic picture at the end.
