needing some help with ideas or suggestions for dining options in January. There will be 6 adults and one child, so far we have ADRs for dinner: Crystal Palace, La Hacienda, Sci Fi, Be Our Guests, Boma, and I am taking my wife to the chefs table at Victoria & Albert's for her birthday. We also have a breakfast ADR planned for Chef Mickeys. So I don't want to go character meal heavy and bore the adults, but I also want something that will keep the little one entertained so we can enjoy our meal. The meals would need to be at a resort or DTD, as they will be non park days. I was thinking about Kona and/or Whispering Canyon, but would like a few other suggestions!

Thanks!!

T-Rex might be a good choice also. It definitely will interest the kids and will be fun enough for the adults to enjoy as well.

Well Ohana, is another character meal. I have two of those, so not sure I want to do another one, and I am not a Stitch fan at all. T-Rex isn't on the dining plan, so not sure that will be much of an option. Cali Grill closes on the 6th of January, I don't think we will have time to get there before it closes. I would love to go to Cali Grill, but don't think time is on our side this trip!

But thanks for the suggestions, it was some that I hadn't thought much about

Rainforest is popular with children, and is on the dining plan now as is T-Rex. Whispering Canyon is very good too and keeps the children entertained. Or there's Beaches & Cream, if the weather is warm.

If you're in the Animal Kingdom in the early morning one of the days on your trip, there is a Rainforest Cafe there that serves breakfast that is actually good. The one in Downtown Disney opens only for lunch and dinner, though.

Anyway, yeah, I'd definitely consider them for breakfast if you're in that area. I was surprised by how much I liked their menu. I think it might even be better than their lunch or dinner menus.

Ohana is only character for breakfast, not dinner and would be high on my list of recommendations. Whispering Canyon is also a great one as is Artist's Pointe in Wilderness Lodge. I'd also recommend Kouzzina, Citricos, Flying Fish, Sanaa and Kona.

If you are alright with spending a bit more money, consider the Hoop Dee Doo Review. We had a blast last year and my 10 year old still talks about it.
