We used to eat there all the time, could usually find something for everyone. Great views as you say.
New update posted -
"We are excited to announce the latest Disneyland Resort restaurants to join the reopening list. You will see a new offering on the list: Lamplight Lounge – Boardwalk Dining! Enjoy patio dining at Lamplight Lounge with a fun new menu featuring select signature Lamplight Lounge offerings. Reservations are not needed (walk-up only) for Lamplight Lounge – Boardwalk Dining, but of course, you can still make a reservation to dine downstairs at Lamplight Lounge."

The more that opens up - even if I'm still waiting for several of my favorites plus expanded menus - the more it should ease the mobile order chaos of having to order hours ahead and wait even longer for pickup.

That's my go-to on DCA side with #2 being Lucky Dragon. On DL side it's the ribs at Docking Bay Seven, although I've had a recent change of heart on Bengal BBQ--one meat and one veggie skewer are just right for me.

Just saw that Disney posted that there are "no plans" to reopen Steakhouse 55. Sounds like it's a goner.

My guess that it's temporary. Not sure why they would not reopen it unless they are going to convert it to something different.
I'm betting they just aren't opening until they open the additional towers. Same with Goofy's Kitchen.
Where did you read this by the way? The Disneyland site just says temporarily unavailable.
