dining plan question

There isn't any penalty for showing up with 1 less, but if you have a few minutes it might be a good idea to call DINE and see which ones are possible to change to 10, as some restaurants do have separate table settings for 10 and 11, and it would be a nice thing to do to make that table available for a party that really is 11-12 (for example). If you can't change it to 10 per availability then just let it go. If you PM me some info I can take care of what I can for you if you don't want to bother with a call.

Are any of your reservations ones where you were required to give a credit card numner? If so, they may charge you for the no-show....just a thought.

I made my ADR in June for December, some of my reservations also required credit card guarantee. I was advised that I would be charged if I was a no show. Some of the reservations had 24 hour cancellations while others were 48 hours. Hope this info helps...

Whenever I have called to reduce or increase (by 1 or 2) the number of diners for my ADRs, I’ve always been told that I should simply show up at the podium and inform the host/hostess of the change. The explanation being that we would need to re-book based on the new number of diners and probably wouldn’t get anything close to our original time if anything was available at all. However, none of the restaurants we've done this for required credit card info.

we did the dining plan last year and it was GREAT!!!
i can't remember one thing though....is there a minimum or maximum days to be able to qualify for the dining plan? and, is there a certain time in the year when it is not available.

If i made reservations for 11 people & one is not going now should i call back & take that one off the reservations?

I would call dine and see if they have a table for 10 available for close to the time you currently have. If yes, then book it and cancel the one you are holding. If they say no, then say nothing and keep what you have. Only exception is if it is for one of the restaurants that you had to leave a credit card guarantee or prepaid, then you kind of have no choice as you will be charged for the person not showing up. However, if you divide that persons fee by 10 of you, it may pay to just pay it and keep what you have if restaurant or show is sold out.
