Okay I'm not sure if anyone posted anything about this...but come on? did you see that new Universal commercial about their 360 light show?? it completely is a rip off of illuminations with the globes and the movie wrapped around (except they have 3...those copiers) and I cannot believe they did that.:fork:
I'm kind of angry at the moment and can't verbally express this very well hahah  but I had to vent to you guys...

I guess they had to do something at night since fireworks are not too much of an option and only done on special occasions because they are too close to people's homes.

Isn't everything that USF does a rip off. I mean Disney in Cali, universal opens theme park in Cali. Disney World in Orlando, Universal Studios opens in Orlando. The only thing they do not copy is the quality of the product. Its like the difference in Bud Light and Colt 45, they will both get you intoxicated, but, one leaves a nasty taste in your mouth.

I find it absurd they opted for a night show when 99% of the year they close before dark. The latest the park is ever open is like 9pm. The rest of the year it's 6pm or 7pm at the latest. Doesn't a "nighttime" show kinda require, you know, night?

Yeah, that burns me too! But not nearly as much as the last one with "if I have to hug one more princess on my vacation I will hurl" commercial.

That's kinda why they are open until 10pm now, and if the show is a success it will continue to play....

OMG, if a commercial for a rival theme park resort is "hurting" you and making you angry, there is definitely something wrong....

We went in June and really had a great time, but spent most of the day at Islands of Adventure. In ways, we liked it as much or more than Disney. More water attractions and more exciting water attractions, exciting rides, and we loved Citywalk.

Some of the things I did not like, though, were the fee for express pass ($50:eek: !!!!, which we did not buy), the incredibly long line to buy tickets, the early closing time, and the slow service in the counter service restaurants. But overall, we had a lot of fun there and got to ride most of the stuff we intended to.

. Universal 360 is not a ripp off of illuminations. Illuminations uses LED on the globe, but Universal 360 is using projections onto the globe. And everything else in the show is different. I guess Disney fans is notorious of being ignorant, narrow minded and defensive of everything except Disney. Sigh..... Oh by the way, I'm not sure if anyone posed anything about this, but did you see Magic Kingdom? It completely is a rip off of Tivoli Garden.

LOL Just this past weekend we had some friends over. R was talking about that GREAT universal commercial that talked about barfing if she had to hug another princess... I pretty much just gave her my patented "one eyebrow raised side glances" and cranked up the Disney music even louder. :goodnevil :fork:
