did resort TV change?

I just returned from a quick weekend at the World. I was lucky enough to score (through a friend who works at the Swan) a great deal at the Dolphin. I was very happy with it, and had a great refurbed room BUT-- the resort channel there is not the same Zip-a-dee-doo-dah Tip for today that I love so much! Did it change or is it just different at the Swan and Dolphin? There is is the Top Seven things to See at WDW-- continuously... with a very peppy annoying chick. If it has changed I am very upset....

But the rest of the trip was great!

Definate change!!! Yup, a peppy chick does the Top 7 things at Disney. I think it started Tues or Wed. I noticed it after returning from the parks. It's new b/c it includes M:S and MP.

BTW, of those who have seen it, doesn't the girl remind you of Paige Davis of Trading Spaces. :veryconfu

Paige Davis is not THAT annoying... this girl is too much. Also, you think they'd have a longer loop than the 20 minutes or so. Yawn. I'm gonna miss my blue's clue's look-alike guy....

I really wasn't talking about the annoying aspect as much as her look, hair style etc.

I agree. Especially after the first 10 - 12 times you see her.

BTW didn't Paige and her husband meet when they were on stage doing Beauty and the Beast together. Nice Disney connection there.

:hammer: Duh!! I forgot all about the new stuff needing to be included. I really didn't like the guy that was in all the vacation planning videos that was doing the resort tv when I went for New Years. He was good, but a little too much for me to handle. I still LOVE that they do bed time stories.

Awwww that definately makes me sad!!!!! I am so happy that we have the entire thing on video the last time we were there. I REALLY loved that...It was one of those things that really brougnt back that "Disney feeling" ...I'm going to go watch it now.

This is not good at all! Is there someone we can email about this? I understand that they need a new Resort TV video, but they can't get rid of the "Have a Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah, Zip-A-Dee-Day!" We all love that! If they get deluged with emails about it, it may bring it back. I'm not saying that they need to change the whole thing back, just put those tiny clips back in!

I loved that and I can't even explain why! Bring it back!!!

I love this tv loop so much, and I miss WDW sooooo much, that I downloaded it from Disney-Central in mIRC. I put it on a CD... Now I watch it everyday in my dvd!!!!

the Disney-Central channel on mIRC has the audio available for download.. I'm not sure about the video.

You mean ZIP A DEE DOO DAH TIP FOR TODAY? Or something older that that? I downloaded it from Disney-Central, but have no idea how to put that in VHS. I could send it to you in cd... If it's not too expensive to send it from Brazil to where you are...
