And still having all three within the same resort. That's the kind of stuff only Disney used to be able to lay claim to within a space.

Is anyone missing Jaws at this point? :)

No, but I am really curious to see all the tributes to the old attraction that are supposedly hidden in the area.

On a side note, Disney should be ashamed of themselves. This place is absolutely breath taking and it is very sad that Disney is no longer capable or willing to put out something as great as this.

It's getting to the point where one wonders if TDO has any sense of shame. It's been operating a broken ride in AK and acting like it's no big deal. It took years for it to build the comparatively simple Mine Train ride, and that's breaking down a lot. Given the current company administration's nonchalance regarding quality, I'm beginning to feel okay about the fact that Iger and his minions have taken the name "Walt" out of newer Disney product. Heck, maybe they ought to take the "Walt" out of Walt Disney World too. I don't think the actual Walt would think much of it, as it stands now. :(

From what I've seen... it looks like you could spend days just wandering DA looking at details. Hogsmeade was a bit overwelming in that sense.. this... can't compute!

There are some reports popping up on the web I'm sure more will be revealed as the regular guest get a chance to go in -

"There's not just one Jaws tribute. From what I understand, there are many Jaws tributes. I've seen everything from — one of the window displays next to the ice cream parlor has an actual set of shark jaws in the back of it. I've heard that inside of Wiseacre's Wizarding Goods, at the exit of Gringotts, there are elements from the Jaws ride that are prevalent in the displays up there. I've heard from piping to ride track to wheels, I don't know yet. There are records in the window displays in London that kind of make reference to Quint."

"Some of the most memorable parts of Diagon Alley could be the less obvious ones. Take this telescope in Wiseacre's Wizarding Goods, for instance. It's actually made from pipes from Universal Orlando's old 'Jaws' ride, which Diagon Alley replaced. (PHOTO/John Handiboe, Staff)"

When people stop coming, they'll start to care.
Disney's fanbase has taught the company that most Disney fans will come whether new things are built or not, or whether old rides are maintained or not.
In fact, Disney can even raise prices every year, build almost nothing, and people will still come, in record numbers since the recession has waned.
Disney's Orlando strategy isn't their fault- it's ours.

Hehehe. That's so cool.
I'm just glad Rowling hasn't made them take them out.
I be no one told her.

That's the truth. I agree with you. And, as it happens, I've already planned to spend my annual Orlando vacation at Universal. I may do that every year from now on. I mean, I've visited WDW many times throughout my life, and the place seems to grow crasser and more commercialized with every visit. I think the tipping point was - nope, not the yeti - but what TDO did to the Haunted Mansion. The new queue is a disaster. The new Hitchhiking Ghost effect is LAME, uninspired and unconvincing. And the way people are rushed through the ride, and the way it gets stopped 2 or 3 times when there are any crowds at all in the park...it's just heartbreaking. The current park administration has no respect for the work of the original Imagineers, and seems to have an active contempt for park guests. That's why it cuts corners and cuts budgets and won't repair rides or maintain the parks properly. They think we won't notice. They think we're SUCKERS. It's outright scandalous.

Please, can someone tell me...will the rumored new management make ANY difference, or will we get just more of the same?

So much for no Harry then.

This ride and area will be a massive hit. The bar has been raised. Again.

A CGI Harry cameo from a distance with a different voice is hardly a Harry Potter centric ride. Any new Potter attractions will also have to follow the no Daniel Radcliffe format. Bill Weasley, a fourth rate character from the books/movies is the star of the ride.

Universal raised the bar with Spiderman and IOA. By most accounts, Gringotts is no Spiderman. It also has a weak storyline rehashed from the movie. Disney and Universal have been slacking with telling compelling new stories with their latest attractions.

Every "account" I have seen puts in the same class as, if not in a even higher class the Spiderman. Can you point me to some of the reviews that it is not as good as Spiderman?

So you have ridden it? Please elaborate on it's storytelling failures.
